App_RXFax Problem.
Good day everyone, Hope someone can help me with a spandsp/app_rxfax problem. I've compiled spandsp 0.0.2pre26, and app_rxfax.c from soft-switch.org Both went just fine, and i've checked my libtiff and libxml (along with the devel-s) versions - they're fine. Machine is fedora core 3, x86_64. Asterisk is 1.2.17, zaptel 1.2.15 Dialing in on a zap channel. T1 PRI, esf,b8zs TE110P

spandsp 0.0.2pre25
Hello, Is anyone successfully using spandsp 0.0.2pre25 with either asterisk 1.0.x or 1.2.4? I've built a Gentoo ebuild for this version of spandsp and app_rtxfax, and it builds, but I'm not having any luck getting it working. 99% of my test faxes fail. Reverting to 0.0.2pre20 yields a much higher success rate. I've bumped the console debugging level in logger.conf to include debug

Problem with receiving faxes with spandsp - full log included (long)
Hello, I have spandsp working with asterisk (tested on one PSTN fax machine). Today someone wanted to send me a fax, but there was a problem with the TIFF file. This is what asterisk console says: TIFFReadDirectory: /var/spool/asterisk/fax/1140608321.7.tif: cannot handle zero number of strips. MissingRequired: /var/spool/asterisk/fax/1140608321.7.tif: TIFF directory is missing required

spandsp-0.0.2pre22 not working!
hi, it seems that spandsp-0.0.2pre22 is not functioning right. downgrading to pre21 makes it work again. debug messages: Jan 18 11:54:29 DEBUG[5157] app_rxfax.c: FLOW Changed from phase 1 to 4 Jan 18 11:54:29 DEBUG[5157] app_rxfax.c: FLOW ???: Jan 18 11:54:29 DEBUG[5157] app_rxfax.c: FLOW Real-time Internet fax (T.38) Jan 18 11:54:29 DEBUG[5157] app_rxfax.c: FLOW V.8 capable Jan 18 11:54:29

Problems with rxfax
Dear list, The company I'm working for is trying to use app_rxfax to receive faxes on an Asterisk machine. Our initial tests looked very promising, but unfortunately we've encountered some problems. We've been trying to solve these problems for quite some time now, but we're running out of options. So I really hope that somebody can give some help here. Basically our set-up is

Hi There. I have the following setup : Asterisk 1.2.4 , freePBX 2.0.1, spandsp-0.0.2pre24 My problem is as follows : If I set up a very simple extensions.conf. when I dial from a fax machine, it seems as if no fax is being recognised. If I answer the call, I can hear the fax machine beeping. extensions.conf :

Help with plotting a line that is multicoloured based on levels of a factor
Hi All, I'm trying to plot data that is a time series of flows that are associated with a specific level, and I would like each level to represent a colour in a line plot. Here is some data that approximates what I'm using: date=c(1:300) flow=sin(2*pi/53*c(1:300)) levels=c(rep(c("high","med","low"),100)) data=cbind.dat...

IPv6 version specific classification in crossbow
...be more specific: consider, if user defines a flow policy as : #flowadm add-flow -d bge0 transport=TCP local_port=8080 tcp1 To resolve this, we have following design choices and I need your opinion, to figure out which one is the most adequate in above situation. 1) We should internally create 2 flows(i.e. 2 flow_entry_t structures in flow table), 1 for ipv4 and other for ipv6 Pros: Administrator friendly, as saves key-strokes. Cons: Any flow would be either v4 type or v6 type. always creating 2 flows would result in waste of resources. would add complexity in flow_table structure....

Three-dimensional contingency table
Hi, I am trying to assemble a three-way contingency table examining the presence/absence of mussels, water depth (Depth1 and Depth 2) and water velocity (Flow vs. No Flow). I have written the following code listed below; however, when run the glm I get the following message, "Error in model.frame.default(formula = Count ~ MP + wd + wv, drop.unused.levels = TRUE) : variable lengths differ

Lattice wireframe or cloud plot with different colours by a group
I have a question about wireframe 3-D plots and how to apply colors. I have a large dataset of river flow (m^3/s) over time, and I have coded these flows based on their height. I would like to produce a wireframe plot that colors the graph based on the flow code, i.e. I would like high flows to be red, medium to be green and low flows to be blue. Here is some sample data with the basic wireframe plot: flow.dat=cbind.data.frame(flow=sin(2*pi/53*c(...

FW: Some queueing disciplines that I wrote.
....S. :- I would like to "sell" (not really - of course its all free) you the concept of mice and elephants. So here is some cut and paste from my master''s dissertation:- A "Mice and Elephants" strategy (also called Shortest Job First) is one which favours the short flows over long flows. In a mice and elephants strategy the short flows or the packets from them are called mice, and the long flows or the packets from them are called elephants. It involves identifying flows and associating packet with their flows in order to be able to treat long flows different to sh...

tx_fax not getting entire fax
Steve, I am trying to get tx_fax to work. I am using a TDM2401E card. I have a 3 page fax and I only receive the first page on every attempt. I think I have enabled debug output below. Can you tell me what the problem might be? I am using snapshot from oct 26. asterisk 1.2.13 and libtiff 3.6.1-12 from redat/centos 4.4. how to guarantee 1/numflows bandwidth to each flow dynamically
I am looking for a simple way to guarantee to each flow going through my traffic control point 1/numflows of bandwidth. I thought using SFQ would do this effectively but it appears to be quite unfair: a very high speed download that fills the pipe easily starves smaller flows to the point where it becomes unusable (especially if they are at all interactive) Because numflows is dynamic, I''m n...

new perflow rate control queue
...) and tested for a while to find obvious mistake. Don''t be suprised when you find many many bugs. The test scenario is like this www server <- [ eth0 eth1 ] -> www clients The attached t.sh is used to generate test rules. Clients download a big ISO file from www server, so flows'' rate can be estimated by view progress. However I use wget to test the speed, so the speed is accumulated, not current. The problems I know: 1. The rtnetlink related code is quick hack. I am not familiar with rtnetlink, so I look at other queue''s code and use the simplest one....
