but it still causes problems (especially for new users
who have no idea what's wrong, they just selected the
repository that was geographically closest to them).

Can anybody recommend a good T1/PRI provider ?
Are you looking for local or Long distance? What will these T1s primarily be
used for(inbound/outbound, domestic, local, long distance, international)
How important are per minute rates to you? how many minutes do you expect to
use per month?
We are in Tampa Florida and have 15 T1s from several different providers so
I may be able to refer you to one if it's a match to what you're looking
for.

Configuring Deltacom pri in Florida
Hi guys,
Trying to do a pri pass-through with a duel port t1 card from Digium.
I have port 1 setup to come in and out from Deltacom and port 2 to feed the
pbx.
Incoming calls work from Deltacom just fine, but outgoing do not.
Anyone know what switch type I may need to get the dial-outs to work or
anything else I might need?
Thanks,
Tom

Return value associated with a factor

How do I instead return the value of the factor?
By way of example, for Lon=-82.49574 and Lat=29.71495, the code returns

county = 001 tract = 002201.

Params Merge and URL sorting/pagination
Hi all,
Here''s my general setup on the specific template I''m having issues with:
will_paginate for pagination
custom methods for sorting
1-form for team search
1-form for search by date
When searching for a team for instance, the url returned will be:
/rushing_offenses?search=Florida
When searching by date, the url returned will be:
/rushing_offenses?compiled_on=2009-07-02
Pagination has a show all button:
/rushing_offenses?numteams=120&orderby=rank&sortby=asc
Pagination has a show simple button:
/rushing_offenses?orderby=rank&sortby=asc

proportional symbol map ggplot
...me, aes(murder,burglary,size=population, label=state))
p <- p+geom_point(colour="red") +scale_area(to=c(1,20))+geom_text(size=3)
Example:
proportion population Pennsylvania/Tennessee= 2.003
proportion symbols' area Pennsylvania/Tennessee= +/- 2.50
proportion population California/Florida= 2.005
proportion symbols' area California/Florida= +/-2.25
What we would like is that the proportion of the symbols' area is also equal
to 2.0.
We see the same in the legend:
proportion population 1.6e+07 / 4.0e+06 = 4.0
proportion symbols' area 1.6e+07 / 4.0e+06= +/-5.0

spdep::poly2nb problem
...nb(states)
# create a 0/1 matrix of the neighbors
nb_mat<-nb2mat(states_nb,style="B",zero.policy=TRUE)
# add names
nms<-as.character(states$NAMES)
# set the matrix names
dimnames(nb_mat)<-list(nms,nms)
# now see which states have no neighbors
rowSums(nb_mat)
# it turns out that Florida seems to have zero neighbors.
I then repeated it with
states_nb<-poly2nb(states,useC=FALSE)
and this time -- the computation takes a lot longer, of course
--- Florida has 2 neighbors (correctly: AL and GA).
Can anyone tell me what's going wrong here?
Thanks!
