proverbial floodgates thrown wide open for centos-announce list
Starting maybe ~ 12 hours ago, the proverbial floodgates were thrown open on emails sent to the CentOS-announce mailing list for CentOS 5.x, all on account of individual package releases.
RedHat have not done the same. What's up?
Are these mistakenly released re-announcements of (previously released) package updates? Or, did the mailman server ha...

Bug#443908: /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/bind: [bind] unexpected RCODE (NOTIMP)
Package: logcheck-database
Version: 1.2.61
Severity: wishlist
File: /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/bind
After #437891, I got yet another new "unexpected RCODE", this time
"NOTIMP". As I was starting to get pissed off, I copied the whole list
out of lib/dns/result.c, in an attempt to put an end to my headache.
If you insist on using an enumeration instead of ".*",

acceptable p-level for scientific studies
Dear list members,
I have a statistical question, that doesn't belong to this list, and I
apologise for that in advance but I would appreciate your help very much.
Is there some convention for selecting the a level for significance testing
in scientific (e.g. chemical processes) studies? Most people use the 0.05
level but I could not find a reference to justify this. Why not 0.01 or 0.1?

IP hard phone devices (grandstream)
...staff!) but the issues seemed to be software-based.
Grandstream also had a little "half-an-ATA186" product as a
single-line converter, but I don't have details on that one. It was
also $75, which seems to be getting closer to the magic $49.99 price
that will open the Radio Shack floodgates.

Hello all,
I'm a newbee and i'd like to test some analog modems i have before
purchasing any new hardware. I'm using:

- Several 56K and 33.6K analog modems (internal and external).

- A LAN i've successfully tested some SIP sofphones.
- An ordinary telephon line (and an ordinary phone :) ).

Support token type in struct for landingpad
> I dont have a concrete design right now and I am happy to take any other ideas
Three ideas come to mind, none of which are perfect:
1) I'm tempted to say that now that we have token type, landingpad should generally produce a token, the pointer should be extracted with the @llvm.eh.exceptionpointer intrinsic instead of an extractvalue, and the selector should likewise be extracted with

Support token type in struct for landingpad
It seems a little backwards to me to check the landingpad's type as the first check, since the personality dictates the landingpad's type. That said, yes I see how #4 is expedient in allowing personalities using the two main types to lump themselves into EHPersonality::Unknown.
As for supporting selector and exception pointer extraction for landingpad of token type, I think you'll

dedicated vnic IP zone not recieving unicast traffic
Hi Folks,
I have a snv_105 sxce host that I just can''t get to work as expected with crossbow + zones.
My test host persephone, is a virtual machine running under VMware ESXi 3.5, with 2 virtual network cards (e1000), all on the same flat network/subnet.
It started life just 2 days ago with a clean install of snv_95, and I LUed to 105 yesterday.
To rule out any sharing issue, the first
