I have some new information concerning this issue. I am now able to change both the samba and unix passwords as anyone but root. If I try as root I only am able to change the samba password but not the unix password. I can do this at the unix prompt as well as in swat. size_t GetItemHeight() const is not part of the standard interface for this class. On Mac OS X for instance it is not defined. So it needs to be removed. This is why us developers should download the complete wxWidgets distribution that has all the headers for each platform so we can cross check when adding features, this is what I do.
