help getting open-vm-tools installed
...ndency errors when attempting to install. the rpms.
Will these tools install for ver CentOS 5 or are they for an earlier
version?
P.S. How closely does CentOS match Redhat binaries? VMware tools (from
workstation 6) install just fine but could not be configured due to
various errors.
Thanks,
Fletch

(I've run it from the first release, I think). Upon installing 2.5.1p1
I found that my attempts to connect hang, here is ssh -v -v -v output:

[PATCH 001/001] btrfs: Mechanism to modify the permission of a subvolume
...s file system
This helps to apply a policy of having read-write subvolume inside a read-only subvolume.
One use case is to have the whole root file system as a read-only subvolume and have /etc as a read-write subvolume inside.

[storage-discuss] high read iops - more memory for arc?
Pre-fletching on the file and device level has been disabled yielding good results so far. We''ve lowered the number of concurrent ios from 35 to 1 causing the service times to go even lower (1 -> 8ms) but inflating actv (.4 -> 2ms).
I''ve followed your recommendation in setting primar...

error creating multipath storage pool
Hi
I'm using Gentoo Linux, libvirt-1.0.0, qemu-1.1.2-r3, multipath-tools
0.4.8-r1. After defining a new storage pool with pool-edit <poolname>:
<pool type="mpath">
<name>mpath</name>
<target>
<path>/dev/mapper</path>
</target>
</pool>
I get this:
