CentOS 5.2 nVidia GeForce 7300GS resolution problem
I have a Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 7300GS on an Intel DG965WHMKR mobo
attached to an LG Flatron LG204WT widescreen monitor. I'm driving the
monitor at 1680*1050, and the picture is compressed into the right-hand
two-thirds of the screen.
The monitor is OK as it's attached via a KVM switch to another machine -
also with an nVidia card - and it displays perfectly on that.

X Server and LCD
HELO,
My old CRT is a bit broken so I decided to buy new screen. I d like to get
an LCD monitor. I also use FreeBSD , X ver.4.2 server and GNOME 2.2.
And now my question: Do I have to setup my X for that monitor, or maybe just
change name, vendor, refresh modes in my XF86Config ?
I am not going to use DVI....
thanks for help

drm/nve0/disp: Fix HDMI InfoFrame initialisation.
...PDISPLAY+0x6f98 <= 0x41020038
This changes reproduces this trace, with the following exceptions:
- 0x881800cf becomes 0x000000cf, as this value is already used in similar
functions and it does work
- write to 0x690480 is done before reading from PDISPLAY+0x6f98
This change was tested on a LG Flatron L246WH screen with 1600x1200 (native)
and 800x600 resolutions with scaling disabled on all 3 HDMI-capable outputs
(HDMI-1, DVI-D-1, DVI-D-2) available.
Audio output was tested on HDMI-1 output.

Troubles for an non-IT beginner
hello,
I am absolutely new, means from non-IT sector but have attraction (developed
recently) towards linux and have chosen the centos distro for the
installation as an OS in my home PC for personal use. I went to the page:
http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/5/isos/i386/
But don't understand amongst the variety of options there. I also don't know
the technical terms like md5,
