Sgi 1600SW flatpanel and Xen
Hi all!
Did somebody uses the Sgi 1600SW flatpanel with a Xen-machine?
If I boot a xen-dom0-kernel the last I see is the grub. The machine is
booting up but with a black flatpanel. So what''s the problem with this
special flatpanel?
Starts the xen-hypervisor with framebuffer-support?
Software like the debian-installer are using the wrong
framebuffer-settings so that I have to disable

Close succes en NV34M, vertical fencing problem
Hello list,
I just had a first shot at the "nouveau" Xorg driver, I'm a regular
"nv" user. It compiled and installed without a itch in a short time,
congrats (great instructions on
http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/InstallNouveau), ran fine... but
with a funny vertical fencing effect: one vertical line out of two was
black. After a few minutes, the effect would

"nv" driver lock up where new version
I have had my "nv" driver lock up a number of times.
I downloaded the "nvidia" drivers and they did not work at 1920x1080
resolution.
I am looking for an updated driver for just "nv".
I found some once for a different driver that you just update commonXXX and
yourdriverXXX not the whole X recompile.
Where can I find those drivers?
THanks,
Jerry

Every game is out of sync.
Hello,
First - Sorry for my English.
My problem is, that every game that I run in Wine turns of my monitor. It say, that resolution is out of range. But when I checked monitor on windows, those resolutions worked properly.
When I run game (in virtual desktop) and set resolution to 1024x768, than disable virtual desktop and again run game every thing is ok, but in this resolution game is slow. I

FreeBSD 4.9-PRE+ nvidia
Hello all.
I have the same problem as described by Dmitry a day ago in a topic similar.
I am able to use x11 with base driver "nv" but when I load "nvidia" driver,
startx
simply crash my machine and reboot after 5 seconds. I have a similar log
file as reported by Dmitry even using startx+logverbose option. XF86Config
file is similar, except it is not the same nvidia video

[PATCHv2 01/10] drm/nouveau: Fix a lock up at NVSetOwner with nv11.
It seems it was only locking up in the context of
nouveau_hw_save_vga_fonts, when it actually did something (because
the console wasn't already in graphics mode).

[PATCH 00/12] TV-out modesetting kernel patches.
This patch series adds TV-out modesetting support to the KMS
implementation.
I've tried to test it on all the hardware I've got at hand (that is
nv11, nv17, nv34, nv35, nv40, nv4b) with every possible output
combination; I believe it has reached a mergeable state, however it
depends on some commits from drm-next that haven't got into Linus'
tree yet, if you agree to merge this

help with x config on centos 5.1
Hi all,
Typically I dont have issues with configuring X. However this time its
an issue.
I have an NVIDIA graphics card trying to do 1920x1080.
If I configure the screen by hand with the nvidia config utility it
works at 1920x1080.
However when I reboot its 800x600. When I use the nvidia config utility to
set 1920x1080 then save the xorg.conf file, and reboot (yes I copied
/tmp/xorg.conf to
