We use it (ices0 actually, because we wanted MP3 broadcasting) to broadcast our main radio stream at http://www.flatfourradio.co.uk and no complaints at all. Thanks ! changed the format to MP3, am getting the icecast stream now. Just realized that esound is capturing the microphone input, wanted to stream the music being played by itunes (basically something like hijacking+streaming the audio). I started by using DarwinPorts, and icecast2 & libogg & libvorbis seemed to build OK.
