AGI Flakyness *sigh*
Well, I'm about ready to throw Asterisk across the room. Can someone tell me WHY, when you've sent a Dial command to Asterisk via AGI, if the callee hangs up the call, Asterisk sends a return code, but if the caller hangs up, it does not??? This means if an agi script services a call, and after the two parties have finished speaking, the person who initiated the call hangs up, the agi

CentOS 7 autofs flakyness
I have a user who couldn't get in via WinSCP to a server. Got him to log in via putty, and that was fine. But he still couldn't get in the other way. At my manager's suggestion, I restarted autofs... and everything worked. Note that his home director5y was already automounted via NFS, after he logged in via putty. We've seen other, similar oddities with NFS. Is anyone else seeing

Permission denied but works anyway
I've just updated from 99.14 to 1.0.a3 on a FreeBSD box. Everything went fine, except for a bit of flakyness from Thunderbird. When first checking a mail box in Thunderbird (running on Win2k), I get a message saying that the command can't be carried out and the server answered "Permission denied". I click OK and everything works fine. As long as Thunderbird stays open, the message doesn'...

Anyone had any luck with SIP clients on the iPhone platform?
Hi, I've tried two SIP clients so far and both have unusable outgoing audio quality. Skype app sounds fine, and recording the same mic sounds fine, so I can only assume there is an issue with the clients themselves. Both clients allow you to register and make calls via SIP with any abitrary provider and credentials, so they'll work with Asterisk. I've tried them with two good

Keeping iptables in sync across multiple machines
...d deployment, since that allowed me to atleast run some santity tesing and rollback if I ended up locking 'core' host. The problem ofcourse was that its not easy to test remote inbound connections this way ( without using a proxy, but then the proxy creates another layer of problems and flakyness ). 4) Physically logging into machines to make policy changes(!) I do this for my laptop's :) 5) Using a 'git pull' from cron on a bunch of machines, and using a central git repository. Each machine would then do a iptables reload, the only advantage of this over (3) is that I can...

[LLVMdev] buildbot failure in LLVM on clang-x86_64-ubuntu-gdb-75
This bot seems kind of flaky. In the last 100 builds, it has failed "gdb-75-check" 22 times with what is either a linker error or a missing header (or both?): gdb compile failed, /usr/bin/ld: error: /home/buildslave/osuosl_slave/clang-x86_64-ubuntu-gdb-75/clang-tests/build/gdb/testsuite/gdb.trace/pendshr1.c.o: requires dynamic R_X86_64_PC32 reloc against 'pendfunc1' which

An 'orrible question: Outlook 365 under wine on CentOS?
Either CentOS 6 or 7 - anyone know if it's possible? Upper Management has decided on a policy that IMAP is going to go away in the near future, and they want everyone on Lookout, sorry, Outlook 365. mark, VMNH* * Very Much Not Happy

Xen branches
...? By supported, I mean are security and bug fixes still being developed? Or is everything moving to 4.0? I''ve set up some Xen infrastructure using Xen 3.4.2 (due to upgrade to 3.4.3 in a couple of weeks) to host VPSs to customers, and everything seems rock solid. There was quite a bit of flakyness with 4.0 in my experience. Just trying to guage if whether I should revisit 4.0 for future server installations if the VPS hosting business needs to grow Thanks _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-...

Buildbot Noise
...ignore those cases from now on, otherwise, we'll keep coming back at it. So, assume we don't do that any more. 2. If we agree that any flaky bot is turned off, and the master behaves correctly (as above), we cannot assume that the constant emailing during the investigation phase is due to flakyness. So, if you do get an email, it's probably a meaningful reason. We're not there yet, but we're discussing at a higher level here, dissecting the issue and finding the problems. > The issue is known and being investigated, sending other > people mail (or having it show up as re...

Grandstream GXP-2000
FYI, spoke with Grandstream this morning, the GXP-2000 release has been delayed again. Looking like April now before these hit the street. -- Cory Andrews Senior Partner VOIPSupply.com +++++++++++++ V: 800.398.VOIP X22 F: 716.630.1548 E: Cory@VOIPSupply.com

Buildbot Noise
I think we've hit a record in the number of inline replies, here... :) Let's start fresh... Problem #1: What is flaky? The types of failures of a buildbot: 1. failures because of bad hardware / bad software / bad admin (timeout, disk full, crash, bad RAM) 2. failures because of infrastructure problems (svn, lnt, etc) 3. failures due to previous or external commits unrelated to the

Voipbuster blocking Asterisk/IAX connections?
What settings are people using? I've seen the ones from dslreports but I'm in that lucky group of people that paid the 1 euro just to have it no longer work. Even after I setup a additional account over the weekend it still doesn't work. And, of course, etherreal only shows encrypted traffic so I can't snag any config settings from it. Any assistance? -----Original
