Game Problem (Carmageddon II)
...i take a pre-installed (portable) version of this, and so i just
copy and past the whole folder into the program folder under
$/.wine/....
So, when the executible file try to find the "missing" configuration
file, it search with a pat similar to: c:/programs/carmageddon ...
instead of the fisical folder: /home/user/.wine/drive_c/Programs/
Carmageddon.
How can I "say"(?!?!?) to the executible file that it is suposed to
search the configuration file in the right folder?
Tanks a lot and sorry for my bad bad English
Stefano.

Wine + PowerBuilder + Sybase ODBC
...works is: 1.2.rc4
The version of Wine on the computer that doesn't work is: 1.3.22
This is what I have done on the PC that works:
I have installed Wine 1.2-rc4, SQL Anywhere 12.0.1 for Windows on Wine, to get a Sybase driver for Wine, SQL Anywhere 12.0.1 for Linux to get the engine where the fisical data base runs.
I run SQL Anywhere 12 Network Server (dbsrv12), that handles the fisical database file (xxx.db).
With a odbcad32.exe I make on ODBC that do a "Network Connection" to localhost with the parameters that it needs. When I do a "Test Connection" I get the message &q...

Bug#600241: Xen Hypervisor can only boot if "acpi=off" parameter is used.
...nd after a few
seconds, the server reboots.
However, the problem doesn't happen if "acpi=off" parameter is used on
grub xen-hypervisor entry OR if the virtualization flags are disabled on
the BIOS.
Using the "acpi=off" parameters Xen is not able to detect the 16 cores
(8 fisical with hyperthread), only 8 cores. If the virtualization flags
are disabled all the 16 cores are detect.

TDM does not disconnect

exten => _XXX.,2,Dial(${AVAILORIGCHAN}/${EXTEN}) ; Dials the number on
the first channel available
But if the person I'm calling does not answer the phone and I hangup
(fisically) the extension, the Zap channels doesn't hangup! They stay
connected, and the line I called keeps on ringing.
So, this is the entire process:
1. I pickup a physical extension, and dial 8
2. The PBX redirects the call to the first FXO channel available
3. Asterisk answers the call and giv...

"doveadm backup/sync" don't follow message moving even with MDBOX
Using mdbox as the storage backend, moving a message from a mailbox to
another just update a reference. The message is not fisically moved on
the disk.
I would expect "dsync" to use this fact when source and destination are
mdbox. But it doesn't.
Anybody else can confirm?.
Any plan to implement it?.
Thanks!.

[Bridge] Multilink + bridge + nat problem
....3
2) iptables 1.3.7
3) last iproute (for masked marks)
All wan interfaces are bridged (stp disabled) in only one interface
(wan0), all lan interfaces are bridged (stp enabled) in only one interface
(zlan0).
The wan0 bridge is to allow UPnP works.
To allow related incoming traffic from one fisical interface I mark
connections, and the same to allow outgoing related.
The routing rules are the same than lartc documentation plus a rule by
interface to allow the routing using marks (masked).
The comands I use are:

Selective Compression/Encryption
Currently compression and I assume if encryption is implemented it is
turned on or off during mount. There are however many times when a user may
want to select which files/directories they want to compress or encrypt.
This will also be helpful when implementing btrfs support in grub for
example. We can say the disk can be compressed/encrypted except for /boot so
