I'm using the 1.0.5.16 firmaware, and was using the buggy 1.0.5.21
My asterisk is working fine with about 8 SIP and IAX2 providers using any
codecs ...
(also the 723) I'm using about 1 month old Asterisk from the CVS.
Any comments would be appreciated.

PIX Firewall Ports and Access-Lists
Hello,
I am not too familiar with the settings in our PIX (learning though).
Here is the only access-list setting that we have in place for Asterisk:
access-list acl-prod permit udp any host EXTERNAL_*_IP_HERE eq 5060
In rtp.conf we are allowing ports 10000 - 20000.
We are not using SIP Fixup in our PIX due to firmware version.
How do I go about adding the ability for udp ports 10000 - 20000

Dear Mr. Seshu Kanuri,
Thanks for your mail. D'Link Phones DPH80 and DPH100 are now fitted with the firmaware changes desired by you. Now these phones do not hangup or un-register after 30 seconds. However please note the following.
1. D-Link IP Phones do not have any settings for the STUN server.
2. D-Link (SIP + H.323) Server has in-built STUN functionality support.
3. If one uses this D-Link Server th...

another reboot usualy fixes this.

USB boot problems on Gigabyte GA-M55Plus-S3G
...remove that exact same SSD,
drop it into an external USB 3.0 2.5" drive case and _then_ try to boot
from it, that also chokes. So it seems pretty clear to me that Gigabyte
has snafued something, perhaps so seriously so that even the best
SYSLINUX may not be able to overcome the (botched) BIOS firmaware.
But we'll see.
