Initializing log4r once
...then ofcourse at every request the logger
system will be reinitialized. This causes the logfiles to be cleared at
each request. which is not very usefull. Does anyone have an idea as how
to init log4r once, at the beginning of the application run? Help would
be very welcome.

I have an asterisk with a X100p, and Sip/Iax connection to the rest of
world as well
a BRI Fritz card with chan_capi.
If someone has a more complex environment to test it, glad to know and help.

log4r and rails
Hey there folks. I would really like to use log4r as my default logger
in Rails, but I''m having a hard time getting it to work. I''m not even
sure I''m plugging it in in the right place. I''m using log4r 1.0.5 and
rails 1.1.1.
I would love it if someone could either point me to a good tutorial on
how to use log4r with rails, or at least point me in the right

Hi,
I want to install the latest R in CentOS. Below is the command line:
./configure --prefix=/home/fino/R/3.2.5/

PRI or Trunk monitoring
Did someone monitor the PRI's or trunks some way?
I tried with MRTG and Andrea Fino module but it never worked for me.
Any other experience? I want to track the use of my PRI's and trunks using
graphical as MRTG does each 5 minute, day, week & Year.
But the option of the 5 Minutes I don't think is usefull, We need something
more realtime.

SNMP Monitoring
Hello,
Does someone know how to setup snmp monitoring on asterisk. I?ve plan to
deploy 50 asterisk, so I need some monitoring tools.
I try with nagios as I read in the wiki, there is some project on it,
but I can?t reach the end.
Can someone help me?

Using Asterisk with fiber optic

how to read .sps (SPSS file extension)?

I'm trying to import .sps (SPSS portable file) file.
the read.spss function (library foreign) doesn't allow to import such files.
should I import in spss and then save as sav file? there is not other
solutions available?
what I mostly like from spss file is that they have variable labels.

...t they do not perform well: area() is very slow and
integrate() does not converge. Are in R other functions for numerical
integration of one dimentional functions?
