Verbose messaging about why public key auth was rejected
...int me at a good document? I'm using OpenSSH
3.9p1 under RHEL4 (at the moment) and can upgrade if it's in a newer
version.
If not, would the OpenSSH team consider adding this feature? I'm
betting I could probably manage the changes necessary, and submit a
patch...

basic dataframe question
...a.frame(cbind(Cu = CuZn$Cu, CuCen = I(CuZn$CuCen), StartCu, EndCu))
class(CuIEP3$CuCen)
#returns "numeric"
I think that I might be missing something fairly fundamental about data coercion in R. ... would love to figure this out.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

zoo merge() method

brevity, the input/output from that exercise has not been included in
this e-mail).
My question to the R user community is as follows: What is this error?
How do I get past it and get these two data sets to play nice with each
other?

shapiro.test() output

Dalgaard book, Introductory Statistics with R, but its not really
sinking in with respect to how it applies to a Shipiro Wilk test).?
The method description - retrieved using ?shapiro.test() - is a bit
light on details.

patch to add built-in support for port knocking

After some pretty small changes to ssh.c and readconf.c, my dream is
now a reality.
Might I be able to convince the good people of OpenSSH to consider
adding my changes to CVS? If so, What do I have to do?
