MAC Adress / Iptables/ Shorewall
Hello,
I use Shorewall 2.0.16 on my server.
I would like to auhtorized some external desktop to connect my network. The
desktop''s IP change always, because they use dynamic addresses and they
haven''t static IP. So I would like to filter those desktop...With shorewall,
I can use an IP to drop, reject...But in my case, I can use it. So I think
to use a filter on the MAC address.

J''ai installé shorewall pour ne pas avoir à toucher les iptables.
Les seules personnes qui se connectent sont des mairies qui ont une adresse ip fixe.

you can find the current version of my enhanced tinc using subversion:

I allowed anonymous read access, so feel free to download the sources.
Unfortunately, my enhancements are based on a rather old git-checkout from
Guus.
The version should run under windows and Debian/Ubuntu.

"Communication prohibited" error when pinging

* if I try to ping my server via its tinc address I get a "Communication
prohibited" error even though I know that the goal server should be open to
communication. also, I would like to use ssh with the others in my vpn (
right now only my NeetBSD server ) but nmap says the port is filtrered. I
made sure to unblock the port in iptables. below are some config files.
apelsin are my Devuan server, citron is the name of the NetBSD server and
citrus is the name of the virtual network.
