libreoffice vs. PDF fillable forms
On centos 6, I've been trying to use LibreOffice to fill in
entries of a PDF with fillable forms.
In addition to all my other problems, the font size is stuck on 24.
I can change it, but whenever I so much a take a deep breath,
it's back to 24 again.
How do I stop this?
So far, all my searches have given me stuff about making fillable forms,
but nothing about dealing with existing o...

IIRC, LibreOffice has this feature and found the link below with

Bizarre problem
I can not see how this could be a xen and/or amd64 problem but the evendence
seem to point to it.
I''m running ltsp under xen 3.4.2 64 bit dom0 on 5 servers.
Noticed that on some systems that acroread always crashes when opening a pdf
with a fillable form. I see no error messages anywere.
Some domu are 32bit debian etch using pygrub.
Some domu are 64 bit debian lenny using pygrub.
To test installed 64 bit lenny using pygrub on each server.
This is the pattern.
in the 2 intel system it works OK all the time. Both have 2.6.18 dom0 kernel....

filed plot symbols
...5. But if I use pch= one of 0-6, it
doesn't work: the line goes through the empty symbols (instead of
the symbols appearing solid).
I was just curious why this is set up this way. Symbols 21-25 just seem to
repeat some others (e.g. 21 and 1 are both circles), except that the early
ones are not fillable with the bg="white" trick. I wonder why not just
remove the existing symbols 1-6 and replace them with the 21-25
counterparts. (There probably is a good reason why it is set as it is)

inconsistent matplot behaviour?
I raised this question quite some time ago but it quitly went down the
river. I'll give it a second try (before keeping my modified version of
matplot for ever...):
matplot supports vectors (and/or character strings) for a number of
arguments namely `type', `lty', `lwd', `pch', `col', `cex'. all of them
act consistently in such a way that the first entries are used

yup. same here.
atm, listening on localhost, with Dovecot -> Tika direct, no proxy.
similarly fragile under load. throwing ~10 messages with .5-5MB attachments at it at once causes all sorts of complaints.
one at a time seems OK ...

2 questions...
I know this is a freeBSD mailing list, but I didn't know where else to
ask this question. I've recently switch to FreeBSD 4.8 (great OS btw),
and I've been so pleasantly surprised that i'm now planning to switch
over my dad's firm over to freeBSD. There computers/software are
rapidly getting old and obselete, and microsoft's price/security
is...well expensive/crap.

Is ZFS internal reservation excessive?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
zpool and zfs report different free space because zfs takes into account
an internal reservation of 32MB or 1/64 of the capacity of the pool,
what is bigger.
So in a 2TB Harddisk, the reservation would be 32 gigabytes. Seems a bit
excessive to me...
