Dovecot v1.0a3 on OpenBSD 3.7
...S
Oct 16 17:00:50 mailtest dovecot: pop3(testuser): Mailbox init failed top=0/0,
retr=0/ del=0/0, size=0
I've read in the archives that this can be fixed by setting mail_extra_groups
= mail in dovecot.conf, but OpenBSD has /var/mail owned by root:wheel mod
755, and /var/mail files owned by fileowner:users mod 600, and no mail group.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

move from netatalk to samba + vfsfruit
since "ea = samba" was only added to very recent netatalk versions and
so don't apply to files with a history of many years what is the way to
go get rid of netatalk these days?
is there still no tool to read/write the existing netatalk appladouble
extended attributes which are *not* compatible with samba and write them
back in the new format?
afp.conf:
appledouble = ea
ea = samba

iirc the only thing that is currently not working is cross-protocol xattrs for
xattrs created via Netatalk without ea=samba. I have a WIP patch for Samba here

*without* create a new share and copy all data from a Apple client
around what takes ages, changes fileowner and is difficult when the
