Text Proccessing script - advice?
...r 09:00:00 each DATE.
That would give me two output. one is the number of days ID has been late, and secondly, the day and time this ID has been late .
I've started as such:
sort -t ','? -k 3,3 -k 4,4? file.log? # this will sort the file according to the DATE field as well as the Time fileld.
I'm stuck for the last 30 min to find a way to get the first line of each day (logically it'll be the earliest as i've sorted by date/time previously) once i know how to do this, i'll be able to compare time and proceed..
Can any one help ?
i looked into sort - u and uniq -f3 thou...

Get an extra_field in login process
Hi.
I have an auth plugin where an extra_field is filled. Somewhere, in login
process I need to log the authentication command and the extra_field, I was
trying to do it in login-common/client-common.c, adding a new variable to
login_log_format_elements and trying to get the fileld from environment,
but, I could not find any way to do it, the getenv returns null everytime.
Anyone can suggest something to do it ? Is there a way that I get the
extra_fields from request in login process ?
Thanks

Dsync deleting mailboxes due to duplicate UIDs
Hi,
I am attempting to migrate a mailspool from a cyrus server to a dovecot
server using the dsync backup approach as described in the wiki at
<https://wiki.dovecot.org/Migration/Dsync>.
The first attempt works great. Everything copies over and a quick glance
over the spool looks good.
Running doveadm backup again though results in the following error:

Dsync deleting mailboxes due to duplicate UIDs
...a directory that is writeable and add -o imapc_rawlog_dir=/path/to/directory to command line.
Also with recent dovecot release you can tell dsync which header fields to hash when matching mails. Add dsync_hashed_headers=Message-ID to config and dovecot will only mach mails using Message-ID header fileld.
dsync_hashed_headers setting is supported since dovecot 2.2.33.

Condensing queue CDRs into single entry
...picked up by agents at least 2 CDR
entries are made, one from local to the agent's (sip) phone, and from
incoming line to Agent. There are other entries generated when other
conditions happen, like agent do not pickup phones and so on.
Going through the cdr entries, there seems to be no common filelds by
which all entries belonging to a single call can be picked up, so how
can I extract all entries belonging to a single call, say if I have
the CDR in a database.

I had seen that parameter but thought it would be prudent to not _just_ rely on
the Message-ID but instead keep the default "Date Message-ID".
I _think_ I might have found an issue when looking at the log:

file_column + form_remote_tag
For my weekend project, I''m going to get form_remote_tag and
file_column playing happily together. According to my research, no
one has done this yet. If you happen to have tried this, and have
some workable code, send me an email. I''d rather not duplicate the
effort.
Thanks!
