ajax exception
Hello! This is my first post so hello to the ROR community :) I am implementing an online editor using the prototype.js lib. On one of the ajax.request calls I make something weird happens. In the debugger I get this output: =================== 10:36:04:796 [DEBUG] FileBrowser.onServiceResult > inResult = success 10:36:04:812 [DEBUG] FileBrowser.onServiceResult > inResult = exception | inRequest.responseText = undefined | inException = TypeError: this.inspect is not a function =================== Now my inspect metod for this class looks very simple and it didn&...

XMLHttp question
I''m continuing my work on integrating fckeditor with Rails. Currently I''m working on implementing the filebrowser / upload features, but I''ve ran into this problem. The response I get back is being loaded into the "responseText" property instead of the "responseXML" property. I''m trying to figure out why this is the case, but am coming up blank. The response is a well-f...

Samba 3.0.0 and OS/2 Ecomstations
...OS/2 Samba 2.2 works flawlessly, but samba 3.0 on Redhat Enterprise 3.0 or samba 3.0-final-0.b (from backports.org) on debian woody does not work. >From the servers point of view, everything seems ok On the OS/2 client it, the share is mountet and looks good until you you browse it in the GUI-filebrowser. It says "No objects were found that matched the specified" and "The system call level is incorrect" using a OS/2 command shell seems to work nicely except that the volume-name sometimes has garbage characters in the end of the string. As it the string isn't \0'ed c...

IOS connections to Samba 4 worked for years, now authentication fails
...have samba 4.8 and 4.9 servers that are Active Directory members. Windows and other samba clients can access the shares, and for years, iOS devices worked fine with Samba 4. But a few months ago, Apple IOS 10 and 11 devices started failing to authenticate. The problem is common to several iOS apps, FileBrowser, SMBManager, and some others all fail. The App vendors are stonewalling us, and giving stupid advice like restarting the devices. The logs on the Samba servers say FAILED with error NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE, regardless of what type of username+password, with or without the domain name. The p...

Slow browsing windows shares from linux/samba
...dows PCs from Linux it takes ages to do so. I can get the listing of available shares via Linneighborhood real quick. Mounting works flawlessy. Then I open the mountpoint and it takes between 30secs to 4 minutes to open the share and display its contents. I noticed that if I am very fast and have a filebrowser ready, that after mounting the share I can browse at realtime speed for about 2 secs. After that the above behavior takes place, and even a directorylisting for a share with only 2 files takes 30 secs. This is true for both Windows XP PCs. Why does it work fine in the direction Windows->Linux b...

GUI Command Equivalent for setwd()
Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me if there's a command prompt on R1.5.0 Windows that will bring up the GUI dialog box that performs the same function as setwd() only interactively? I've hunted around, but can't seem to find anything. Something like file.choose(). Best wishes, Jess _____________________________________ Jess Mar Department of Mathematics University of Queensland QLD

Hi!! I am a new user of R (just trying to analysis microarrays with some packages from the bioconductor project). I would like to import a text-delimeted file containing 20 columns and 22200 rows. I have tried read.table; scan(file="") <matrix(scan("file", n=20*200,20,200, byrow=TRUE)); Doesn't matter what I try I got the next message: error in file (file

[LLVMdev] Using LLVM as a crosscompiler
Hi Koen, The process to build llvm-gcc as a crosscompiler is basically the same as build a normal gcc as crosscompiler. The differences: you need a LLVM installed (compiled for the host). You must configure llvm-gcc with --enable-llvm. Problems: - Today LLVM supports ARM/EABI, but llvm-gcc don't. You must apply the patch:

NOTE: A workaround to this problem would be to select a file or folder with a smaller name and use the keyboard directional keys to get to it and then use the menu button, also on the keyboard, to make a menu appear (to acces the filebrowser functions such as delete, cut, copy, paste, etc...). NOTE: Another way would be to kind of sneak up on the file, you have to go around it and click on it's icon to select it, this way the tooltip will not appear at all. When using the scrollbar in the insert tab, the elements contained there f...
