[Flac-users] Re: my flac -t issue: next approach
...need to. Since the wildcard isn't globbed, and since I'd start
with the batch file that Speek's front-end would write, I'd be invoking
flac -t separately on each file anyway.
Now, could I do this for two or more flac files (using two as an example) in
one batch file ...
flac -t file01.flac
if errorlevel 1 goto fail
echo "file01.flac verified" >> results.txt
goto exit
:fail
echo "file01.flac did not verify" >> results.txt
:exit
flac -t file02.flac
if errorlevel 1 goto fail
echo "file02.flac verified" >> results.txt
goto e...

| yes, the exit code will be 1 if any of the flac files failed
| testing, else 0 (i.e. if all of them passed).
Thank you, Josh! Now the only trick is to see whether command.com can do
anything with that information.

Choose.files to give shortnames
...am writing a script to generate a QC report for some data based on a number of files. I am currently using the choose.files function to select the files as not all the files need to be QC'd. One minor issue is that choose.files returns the complete path of the filename (eg "C:/QCdata/Test1/File01", "C:/QCdata/Test1/File02"...). Is it possible to use choose.files to return just the file name eg("File01", "File02"...), in a way similar to the full.names=FALSE argument in the dir function.
Thanks
Tony

Save output
Dear R-Mastermind
Within a while or a for-loop, is there a way that I can save to disk the
results of the previous calculations at the end of each loop with filenames
called "file01.Rdata", "file02.Rdata" etc?
So far, I have tried to write the outcome of each loop in a 3 dimensional
array and saved it just once after the loop. Or is there another way so that
I can keep the resulting matrix of every step in the loop?
Thank you very much for your help

"Invalid argument" error when moving sockets to backup dir
Local end (receiving): 3.0.2, 3.0.3pre2
Remote end (sending): 2.6.9
Under 3.0.x, rsync sometimes prints an "Invalid argument" error when
moving sockets to the backup directory (--backup-dir):
rsync: mknod "/backup/machine/../machine-before-4/var/run/audit_events"
failed: Invalid argument (22)
The problem appears to be that, at least with sockets, keep_backup() is

The error goes away if I comment out the ''source'...

Asterisk - Soundcard - Recording?
Greetings-
I've got a curious project that I could use some input on. I'd like to use Asterisk to record some audio channels via USB 'soundcard'. When audio passes through the soundcard, Asterisk should grab that audio channel (CONSOLE?), and write it to a wav file. I'm perfectly competent with the dialplan portion of the recording, but I don't know about the following:
