Im glad to let you know that finally I invested some time to make work Unicall in Asterisk 1.4, I must say not much testing could be done since I have no hardware available ( cards, servers ), however a friend was able to test it with a couple of calls with success, I need you to test this and report some feedback. I downloaded these 4 files: app_rxfax.c app_txfax.c asterisk.patch spandsp-20061130.tar.gz for use with asterisk 1.4 (these are the 1.4 files) I installed spandsp, copied app_rxfax and app_txfax into /asterisk-1.4beta3/apps my question is what do I do with asterisk.patch? I tried to put it in the apps directory also and run "patch < asterisk.patch" and it gave me an error.

I need to retrieve my asterisk to retrieve a values from postgresql, i am looking for some sort of application like *mysql*() app, I found one but it is only available on Suse, is there any way for doing this? I am having a problem trying to get a Sangoma A101 to work with Unicall. I have installed the sangoma drivers and everything seems to be well but when I try to run ztcfg I get the following error: CAS signalling on span 1 conflicts with HDLC with FCS check on channel 16. I need to authenticate users to make long distance calls. Basically,when the user dials a long distance dialplan pattern, I want to prompt for his pin and look it up against a table of pins:usernames in a file. If it exists, I'll use the username in the cdr accountcode and permit the call. Authenticate() looked very promising nut I couldn't get the ma options to work. Any help is
