multivariate Stochastic Volatility and GARCH
...ne, i`m a german economics student, writing my master´s thesis about "Multivariate Volatility Models". After having read about theoretical aspects of Multivariate GARCH ans Stochastic Volatility Models, I would like to compare DCC-GARCH and DC-SV with help of an empirical application. I figuered out that one has to use MCMC-simulation-methods for that. Some days ago I started searching the internet for already written codes... without any succes. The only code I found is from Yu and Meyer (2006) using BUGS -which I don't want to use- for making estimation and inference using Gibbs-Sa...

[PULL] vhost: cleanups and fixes

And to figuer that out, it's like five layers of indirection through different helper functions that *can* do more generic things but in this case don't. And you do all of this from a core VM callback function with some _really_ core VM locks held. That makes no sense to me. How about this: - get ri...

Updated version of gdata, gtools, gplots and gmodels
...plot.R: Recent changes to align row totals with the overall total broke how the marginal cumulative fractions were displayed. Added example using Titanic data that exercises the multi-factor display. Added -.tex, .pdf files and figuers, and RNEWS article in inst/doc - colorpanel.R: colorpanel now allows only 2 colors to be specified if no 'middle' color is desired. Source client with HTTP PUT
Hello again, for now I figuered out to send a mp3 stream to IceCast with TCP Socket communication. Now I'm challenged with the correct timing for the data packets. Are there any API calls for getting the state of IceCast's buffer? I'm programming now on a scheduler for sending the mp3 frames, depending on the meta...
