FIML with missing data in sem package
...e sem package? For example, suppose I have a
dataset with complete information on X1-X3, but missing data (MAR) on X4.
Is there a way to use FIML in this case? I know lavaan and openmx allow you
to do it, but I couldn't find anything in the documentation for the sem
package. Thanks!

Allison Smith, Music-on-Hold Parody--outstanding.
Allison Smith just created a hysterical parody music on hold Parody. Whatever you were doing, stop, and dial this number to listen to it: 360-519-5689. 2 minutes.
I just gave her a few ideas, but she took it and ran with it--she chose the audio and did the mix-down and everything. Really funny!!

mfrow and centering plots when there's an odd number
....5*x + rnorm(100, 0, sqrt(1-.5^2))
plot(x,y)
}
Note that there's five plots and six spaces for those plots via mfrow,
leaving one row empty. Is there a way to have the bottom two plots
centered? I think it looks weird to have them left-justified. Thanks in
advance for the help!

(forgive the unconventional use of the equal sign....old habit).
Unfortunately, the linearHypothesis is always compared to a full model

help!

Group write permissions /etc/asterisk/.
I notice that the installation of Asterisk 1.8.8 thru 1.8.10 (probably
earlier versions too) remove the group write permissions from
/etc/asterisk/. which is different than 1.4. And 1.6.
Is this expected behavior?
If so, what's the rationale?
If not, I'll submit a bug report if someone hasn't beaten me to it.

AstDB/Berkely DB - Hash function? Balanced-Tree? b-Tree? Linked List?
...If a database
has only 160K keys, it can be tough to tell whether the data structures
are being used efficiently, because even WILDLY INEFFICIENT lookups seem
fast.
Can anyone speak to this?
What is the default data structure?
How many records have you stuck into the AstDB?
Thank you!

R and getting a file through https
Dears!
I have a system that generates links on a https webserver.
I have to be logged on with a username and password; Then follow at
least fife links to get into the link where I can download the file.
The question is: How can I accomplish that with R?

sem package, suppress warnings
...ng "check.analytic = FALSE,
debug = FALSE," and that doesn't seem to do it either. Any ideas why it's
not working?
It may be important to note that the command above is wrapped within a
function and I'm using "try()" to avoid errors.
Thanks in advance!

path.diagram in SEM--display covariances without variances

The diagram is produces is hard to read because of the many variances
that are shown. The covariance estimates are important for my diagram,
but the variances are not. Is there a way to suppress the variance
arrows without suppressing the covariance arrows?

MWI working perfectly. Shouldn't it be broken??
I have a Sipura 962 endpoint on Asterisk 1.4 where the MWI works
perfectly, however my theory is that it should be broken.
Obviously I'm wrong but "Sip show subscriptions" does not show the
endpoint subscribing to the MWI status on Asterisk, even though all of
the other endpoints on the system DO subscribe for their respective
mailboxes, including SNOM & Polycom endpoints.

Wi-SIP vs. SIP-DECT
Anybody care to muse on Wi-SIP vs. SIP-DECT?
My limited research indicates that none of the WiSip phones will ever be
able to match the performance of DECT phones. Maybe I'm wrong but a
Wi-SIP phone seems like a DIESEL sports car. There is nothing wrong
with the technology, but it seems like a shoe-horned fit into the
requirements of a wireless endpoint. DECT uses a wireless radio layer

have been on this list.
Either way, I'm unable to google my way
