Johnny's site hacked?
Or is it some sort of inside joke?
http://www.hughesjr.com/
If it's a bona fide hack, I'd be curious to know how the culprit got
in. The the distro's maintainer has gotten burgled one would think that
a lot of other systems are at risk.

Your help needed: List of LLVM Open Projects 2017
Hi Matthias,
Thanks a lot for the project. Could you put it in the google doc
below? I'd appreciate if you could follow more-or-less the format. Are
you going to be the mentor.

key managment roadmap
Hi all,
I'm new to this list so I don't know if this topic was recently discussed.
Here in Rome with other friends of mine we extensively used tinc-vpn
as backend layer of our network, now we need a clever key management
of the keys to meet our goals.
Now ZioProto (that Guus meet at FOSDEM) says to me that something is
going to be developed in this area, so I like to know what kind of

keylib32.dll problem
Hi all,
I'm new to wine (and pretty new to Linux), and have just built and
fiddled a bit with a Xandros distribution. This is based on Debian
woody, and comes with Crossover Office 1.3.0-2. I installed Visio 2000
which went right "out of the box" including a VB runtime update and 2
virtual reboots - awesome. Next I tried to install an antenna simulation
programme called EZNEC3

PXE Boot Menu with iSCSI and AOE!
Dear developer,
I am working on a project for my graduate work (diploma), which includes iSCSI and AOE booting. I made some menus using pxelinux and things are working fine with linux, but I have a small problem with windows system which require direct iscsi or aoe access.
I have dhcpd.conf setup that it to each first dhcp request handles out pxelinux.0, then I can chooose from that menu which OS

Discussion: Spam on R-help
[re-sending this one since it apparently didn't get through yesterday]
Hi Folks,
I just had a look at the r-help archive for the still-young month of
August, and happened to notice that out of 49 postings there, 20 were
assorted spam of all-too-familiar types.
I'm wondering (discussion point) whether this might suggest that the
list should adopt a more restrictive policy. Apparently, as

[LLVMdev] Definition of RegisterClass for load instruction in Thumb2
Thank you for the answer.
What is the main reason of allowing this inconsistency in the td file? I guess that's because of the "some" distinction between the writeback and non-writeback versions. Is there any benefit from the inconsistency by using GRP in .td file and freezing lr and pc during register allocation in writeback version?
Thanks,

extended Kalman filter for survival data
If you mean this paper by Fahrmeir: http://biomet.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/81/2/317 I would recommend BayesX: http://www.stat.uni-muenchen.de/~bayesx/.
BayesX interfaces with R and estimates discrete (and continuous) time survival data with penalized regression methods.
If you are looking for a bona fide Bayesian survival analysis method and do not wish to spend a lot of time

dsync inbox conversion problem (mbox -> mdbox)
Hi,
We are trying to convert all mbox mail on our systems to mdbox using
dsync, in order to be able to use email sub-folders in Thunderbird.
Everything works fine for non-inbox folders, however the inbox folders
are not getting converted.
We used:
*dsync -v convert mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u*
*dovecot --version*
2.0.beta6 (3156315704ef) (shipping with RHEL6/SL6)
*dovecot -n*

Lineage 2
Hello
I've been able to install Lineage 2 on my Debian unstable (wine 0.9),
and it even updates itself from the net, but when I try to start the
game I get an error message box saying that I need Directx 9c to play it.
How can I get past it?

Available for testing
...for Nouveau (btw.
should I go with 32 or 64 bit environment (concerning nouveau testing)?).
I have also other non-nvidia non-video hardware (tv tuner card, 4 core
CPU), but I don't know if it may be valuable for Nouveau testing. (I
also plan to have 6GB of RAM sometime next year).

long vectors not supported yet
This looks to me like a package development issue... which may be under discussion in R-sig-geo (search the archives), but more likely to be appropriate to discuss with the maintainer by email or through their development repository (R-forge, though it looks unused).

Secure booting using UEFI requires that the code is signed - that is
the "secure" bit. Microsoft are the CA for that signing. There's
nothing sinister about it, they aren't signing the RPM
