On my integrated Intel HDA 2.0 card: If I don't have jack tweaked just right, it will degenerate into "pops and clicks" but seems stable if jack is given a little more "headroom" (higher latency) to work with. However, it completely crashes JACK when trying to use FFADO (2.0 beta6) as the driver. Card is an Echo AudioFire2. jackd is compiled from svn to work with ffado. I will gather more info and post soon. Would really like to get Pianoteq standalone (not the VST) working through WineASIO and FFADO...!

nouveau interrupts firewire ISO streaming
...g in firefox or hovering over a link, thus changing the pointer to "hand". Looks like nouveau is disabling interrupts now and then, which leads to stalled firewire ISO streaming. I don't know what nouveau's actually doing, I'm just guessing. ;) Firewire audio streaming (www.ffado.org) requires precisely timed DMA transfers. If the kernel/controller/scheduler fails to deliver those packets in time, e.g. due to a ressource with high interrupt load, the audio stream is interrupted and you get audible glitches. Can Foobar2000 use wineasio?
I have AudioFire2 1394 sound card. I installed ffado and jack server and they can works well. I can play music or movie through mplayer with audiofire2. But I have many ape/flac music. So I want to use foobar2000 under wine and hope foobar2000 can play through audiofire2. From google. seems wineasio can do it. I installed it but foobar2000 still can...

HELP-No sound input
Ubuntu 8.04, Wine installed & Reaper etc all playing back fine, but no audio input. No audio input available pre Wine install in eg; Audacity & Ardour. Used Prefs > Sound & set all to ALSA & MAudio ALSA where defined. Tried Wine > Audio Config - freezes whole system & doesn't resolve. G'byte MoBo Realtek card disabled in Bios, so only 1 audio device in operation
