CentOS 5.11 / Firefox 38 -- totally borked...
The subject line is deliberate. It looks like firefox 38 is infliting a rerun of http://marc.info/?l=centos&m=141288474630498&w=2 upon us. Addons are downloaded into /tmp, but never installed. Not even Install addon from file works. Going back to ff31. Grumbling ...

Firefox-31 STARTTLS cipher strengh degraded?
Has anyone else experienced a degraded symmetric key exchange when using FF-31 vice FF24? When I use FF24 then I get a symmetric type of AES-256 (Very Strong) rating in Calomel 0.62. When I switch to FF31 and connect to exactly the same server host and url then in Calomel 0.62 I see this instead: TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (Very Weak). I am not altering any of the configuration options in FF between version trials. -- *** E-Mail is NOT a SECURE channel *** James B. Byrne...

CentOS 5.11 / Firefox 31 -- totally borked...
OK, I just updated my two CentOS 5 boxes (my laptop and by desktop) and discoved that FF 31 is totally borked -- it seems not to be possible to install either Firebug (either 2.0.4 or 1.12.8) or Firefox 2, the theme reloaded (1.0.8). These two addons are critical to me. So I have snaged the FF 24.8.0 rpms from the CentOS 5 vault and downgraded to this version and blocked further updates of FF.

dahdi kernel module
Does anyone know if there are any plans to update the dahdi-linux kernel module code? It no longer compiles with recent kernels, and the last release of dahdi-linux appears to have been around March of 2016. I am currently running 4.6.3-300.fc24.x86_64 (on a Fedora system obviously) and the dahdi-linux-complete-2.11.1+2.11.1 release builds and runs under this kernel, but if I try to build it under

PJSIP Weirdness, or just my weirdness?
Hello! Oh, wise ones, ponder with me over two of the surprises that populate the universe! I have a phone, that I sometimes cannot reach, connected via pjsip. It can call other extensions just fine, it can call out over a trunk to my cell, all is well, but getting a call? Forget it most of the time. Here is all the config relevant to that phone: [murftest12] type=aor qualify_frequency=1992
