Filing to public folders
Hi all,
I'm currently playing with a setup which might replace my current cyrus imapd one
with dovecot. Currently I'm stuck with trying to file messages that got to the user
"lists" to the public namespace' System folder (public/System) with sieve.
Dovecot claims "Permission denied", and I tried several debugging techniques to
get the cause - without a result

analyzing binomial data with spatially correlated errors
...at I want to capture by computing
the correlation matrix, I have no other random effect.
There must be something I do not understand here... I can't get why gls can do
this on gaussian data but lmer can't on binomial ones.
Any help or thought on this would be welcome !

glmmPQL
...told in
some FAQs.
If somebody has an idea on how to sort this issue out, I would
appreciate !
Another question: is the option correlation active in the latest version
of lmer ? If it is, it might be an option to consider instead of
glmmPQL.
Thanks in advance for your help !

degrees of freedom in lme
...I would naively expect the number
given by lme to be close to that provided by aov is the case of a balanced
dataset. That's obviously not true in the case of an ANCOVA... But why?? And
how should I interpret the F-test given by anova.lme?
Thanks in advance for your help !

extracting residual variance from glmmPQL
...can't find it. Any
help on this would be welcome !
A separate issue: I have no idea how I should run my simulation in case
I need to set family to quasibinomial, instead of binomial... And this
is something I might consider in a next future.
Thanks in advance for your help,

possible bug R CMD check: No space(s) allowed after \VignetteDepends{}
R CMD check gives an error when a vignette entry %\VignetteDepends{} has any
extra space at the end.
Maybe this is by design, but I found it confusing.
Changing the function "vignetteMetaRE" in tools package could solve the
problem. I.e.
vignetteMetaRE <- function(tag)
paste("[[:space:]]*%+[[:space:]]*\\\\Vignette", tag,"\\{([^}]*)\\}", sep
= "")

How to keep track of who is doing what?
Hello everyone,
I'm a new Asterisk user and I wonder what people usually do to keep
track of who is doing what in the system. For instance, I would like to
keep track of who is calling certain contexts/extensions and when that
happens. I'm also interested in logging customized status messages to a
text file. Suggestions would be extremely welcome!!
Best,

odd evaluation within correlation argument of glmmPQL
[I think I've seen this reported before but can't locate it any more.
I believe this oddity (glitch? feature?) is behind a query that
Jean-Baptiste Ferdy asked a year ago
<http://finzi.psych.upenn.edu/Rhelp08/2008-October/176449.html>]
It appears that glmmPQL looks in the global workspace, not
within the data frame specified by the "data" argument, for
the variables specified in the "form" argument of spatial
correlatio...

Performance problem
We use some Samba servers running SuSE 7.1 and samba 2.2.1a.
These servers are sometimes very slow while delivering data over the network. It is like a short sleep-mode followed by a wake up. We use Win 95, 98 and 98SE Clients.
Any ideas?
Thanks from germany,
Andre Klocke

call forwarding, most basic case
hello all,
i need some help and after trying the wiki i'm even more confused than i was.
i'm trying to set up call forwarding and running into problems...
i want the most basic call forwarding imaginable.

2. dialplan is updated to forward caller's extension (based on
CALLERIDNUM) to voicemail, instead of ringing his endpoint.
3. caller is
