Install 'hivex-devel' and re-run ./configure.

It was installed via yum on fedora18:
# rpm -qva|grep guest
libguestfs-tools-c-1.20.9-1.fc18.x86_64
libguestfs-tools-1.20.9-1.fc18.x86_64

qemu-img convert to "sparse" LV
...smaller (although more than enough for the data)
the LV is invariably corrupt.
If I try use a thin-provisioned LV pool, and a LV backed by that pool,
the LV resulting from qemu-img convert is not corrupt but it uses as much
space as the file-image capacity it came from.
This on both RHEL64 and Fedora18.

configuring a lxc guest to run 32bits from a 64bits host under libvirt-lxc
Hi there
I have a couple of newbie questions concerning running a 32bits guest in a 64bits host using libvirt - lxc; I’m running libvirt-1.2.5 on fedora18 and fedora20
(a) is this supported at all, and
(b) if so how do I configure this for a given guest ?
guessing from the mere existence of http://www.redhat.com/archives/libvir-list/2011-February/msg01040.html
I would think the answer to (a) is yes; anybody cares to confirm ?
As far as (b), I wou...

NOT Solved - Re: SELinux policy to allow Dovecot to connect to Mysql
...x_+_dovecot.html
On this post referenced above, the author has a sample SELinux policy for postfix/dovecot and mysql.
While the post references an e-mail setup guide link that is no longer reachable, the policy file is still present in text.
This URL: https://mgrepl.fedorapeople.org/man_selinux/Fedora18/mysqld.html
has a good summary of the Booleans available for the MySQL SELinux policy
For Dovecot, you will need a policy that allows the dovecot process to transition from whatever context it is currently running into the applicable context that is defined for the mysqld process (or at least som...

dnsmasq does not start
Hi!
I am trying to run tap networking with libvirtd.
My test system is Fedora18/ppc64, libvirt 1.0.4 (compiled from git and
installed). On another system with Fedora17/ppc64 with the same settings,
dnsmasq is running. All configs in /etc/libvirt/ are default and not
changed, the only exception is /etc/libvirt/qemu/networks/default.xml which
I copied from Fedora17/ppc64 set...

I think a good way to get that is to shrink the filesystem of the
original disk, shrink the disk itself and convert the file-based image
to the LV like you do.
Once done, you can extend the LV and the filesystem back to what it was
before the process if needed.
Other than that, I don't know...

[PATCH] builder: add build script for ppc64 fedora
Build script is based on fedora-aarch64.sh. This managed to build and compress
an image, but it seems the process itself is not completely unattended.

virt-resize is part of libguestfs, which is layered on top of libvirt.
As such, I'm redirecting this mail to the libguestfs mailing list.

Clipboard
I am unable to cut and paste between a Fedora 19 host and a Fedora 19
guest.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a known problem that I have not
been able to find?
