Geek Squad UPS Systems
We are interested in using Nut on our Federa 6.0 servers. However, our UPS systems are sold under the name "Geek Squad" (sold through the Best Buy chain of department stores). I'm pretty certain Geek Squad does not manufacture these units and they just rebrand them. Does anyone know who makes these units or what they are compati...

Re: /proc/meminfo
...he exact same value that's reported in this Red Hat bug. Clearly that is not a coincidence. We did not see this problem in 7.1 so apparently it is something introduced in 7.2. For the immediate term it looks like we'll have to roll back to 7.1.I'll look into getting it reproduced in Federa or RHEL. Peter

Constructor code in MAC address does matter ?
I observed a strange networking behaviour of my Debian virtual host in function of the MAC address I use. It seems that when I use an existing constructor code, networking works without any problem, but is impossible in the other case... Ex. : - vif = [ ''mac=aa:00:00:00:00:55, bridge=xen-br0'' ] -> no problem - vif = [ ''mac=df:00:00:00:00:55,

/proc/meminfo
Has anyone seen this issue? We're running containers under CentOS 7.2 and some of these containers are reporting incorrect memory allocation in /proc/meminfo. The output below comes from a system with 32G of memory and 84GB of swap. The values reported are completely wrong. # cat /proc/meminfo MemTotal: 9007199254740991 kB MemFree: 9007199224543267 kB MemAvailable: 12985680
