status of undelete
Months ago there was a thread here about the implementation of a simple undelete-function (i.e: dont delete files, but move them to a folder). Is this this still a relevant idea or has this feature low priority ? thanx, peter ps: anyone knows about a 3rd-party software (propably on nt-side) that implements such a feature ? -- mag. peter pilsl phone: +43 676 3574035 fax : +43 676 3546512

unix-type commandline keystrokes in the windows RGUI
Hi all, I am generally quite fond of the unix commandline keystrokes (e.g. searching back in your history with [CTRL]-R, and cutting/pasting with [CTRL]-K/Y) which work in the R commandline in *nix. Does anyone know if there's any way to get similar functionality in the Windows RGUI? I know that as of now, [CTRL]-A and -E do the same as unix (beginning and end of line) and [CTRL]-Y

[LLVMdev] [Help] LLVM Runtime optimization and PGO reoptimization
...the paper "LLVM: A compilation framework for lifelong program analysis and transformation". I would like to get some more detailed information and apply it to our code. I am not using llvm - frontend tools, so I would appreciate it if you could let me know how to add those optimization featuers in the source code ( llvm backend? ). Thank you very much for your help in advance. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Printing Error
I guess this could possibly a bug... Right now my office software runs quite fine with wine, but but unfortunatly I get an error when I try to print documents. It says (loosely translatet from the german dialog): "There has been an error. access violation at adress 7E2B8D16 in modul 'winex11.drv" Reading Adress 00000029" The printer prints anyway and it looks fine but in the

Things that fail over time (was Automounter (?) failing in CentOS 5.3)
...sing the 2.0 alpha test pre-release version of SM. However, I have found, through bitter experience and regret, that the standard release of SeaMonkey 1.x is worse. Now, I know there are some who will say "Use Firefox," but, frankly, I really don't like the way too many of its "featuers" work, and I really, _really_, REALLY prefer (a mild word for it) the SeaMonkey/Netscape behaviors. I should also note that it doesn't matter how many flash videos I play that work, 0 or 1 or a dozen, once I hit that one that doesn't, it's close all tabs and restart. It'...

call an IP camera?
Hi, is it possible to "call" an IP camera? I'm thinking about something like bridging with a music stream, but instead of streaming audio, bridge with the video stream from the camera. It would be very cool if I could just call the camera and see what's going on. Ffmpeg shows the following streams available from the camera: Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (Main),

Scriptaculous and Prototype based Rich Text Editor
Hi Guys, I'm currently using the Dojo Rich text editor on my site https://wideword.net but am not 100% happy with it as I'm a prototype kind of guy. So I started writing this Rich Text Editor the other day on an experiment. I used the In Place Editor as a template for it and have gotten it to more or less work under IE and Gecko. Unfortunately it still isn't working on Safari
