geo-rep will not initialize
Hi,
Yeah shared storage is needed only for more than 2 nodes to sync the geo rep status.
If I have some time , I can try to reproduce it if you could provide the gluster version, operating system and volume options.

...searching.
Back in 2011 there was some discussion on this list, it it seems the
intention is the default should be less:
https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-sig-fedora/2011-August/000194.html
I hadn't noticed an issue until recently upgrading to fc41 testing,
however it appears to be the case in FC39 and EL9, while the EL8
package is still less:
For R-core-4.3.3-2.fc39.x86_64:
PAGER=${PAGER-'/usr/bin/more'}
R-core-4.4.1-3.el9.x86_64:
PAGER=${PAGER-'/usr/bin/more'}
R-core-4.4.1-3.el8.x86_64
PAGER=${PAGER-'/usr/bin/less'}
configure for R still prefers less if available...

If you do and do have a preferred pager, then you can do e.g.

and you're good to go.

OK, I do not use Samba on Fedora, their DC packages use MIT kerberos
and as such are classed as experimental. The krb5.conf I posted was for
Heimdal and just works.
I thought about it and remembered something, so checked the wiki, have
a look at this:

Can confirm with {python3-,}libguestfs-1.51.1-1.fc39.x86_64
The stack trace is roughly the same as yours.

Yes, you are right.
I use samba packages from Fedora linux - so you advise is to ask in
Fedora lists?

samba.x86_64
samba-dc.x86_64
samba-dc-bind-dlz.x86_64

smb.conf on DC is quite simple

Ah, yes, I should have remembered that you are running 'experimental'
DCs on Fedora and they do strange things to the krb5.conf. All you need
is this:
