SoftFax question
Hi,
I am looking at using the softfax that Steve Underwood has developed.
It's very straight forward when you assign an extension for the fax.
A function that several pbx's has is that they listen for the 'faxtone'
for 5 seconds
after 'answer' in the menu where you can enter your local extension number,
it's normally done in parallel with the DTMF detection. I think that
the logical solution
would be if the DTMF mask given to the DTMFdetector could had a digit
for fax or

Question about the 'fax' extension
I was looking at the wiki on 'Asterisk as a voice/fax switch'
And was wondering if the extension 'fax' is global to extensions.conf
Or just to the context it is in?
The reason I ask, is that my PRI might have 5 channels that will be
scrictly
Fax, and to be functional, I need multiple 'fax' extensions in my
various
Contexts.

transfer and zap
...d dial - if the called person gets on phone - i will hang up the
phone. but the call did'nt transfer - the moh to the first caller
will not stop. how can i transfer the call?
i want to transfer back the origin call to the asterisk-server in an
extension for faxtransfer, so if anyone call and a faxtone is there i
want transfer it back, so that asterisk answer the call.
any ideas?
