...JBOD. The SATA raid is a Silicon Image Sil3512. It supports Raid 0 or 1. Would I get better speed performance using the chips to manage the raid or using software raid? Oh and I will be using the CentOS 5 install dvd. Any advice from the list would be appreciated. Hi folks. I,m thinking of purchasing an ASUS mother board with this chip set in it. NVIDIA? nForce? 430 MCP Lan= NVIDIA? nForce? 430 MCP built-in Gigabit MAC with external Attansic PHY. ...s started after an update (not shore which one,) as I had been able to copy files to / from these disks before. I have turned off selinux and had a look at my fstab file, but can't see any thing obvious. Can some one point me in the right direction to debug this please? My daughter has a BT account, with a BT supplied single-port router. I'd like to replace it with a standard router, but the settings appear to be totally hidden. If anyone reading uses BT, could you please tell me where to find the info? Maybe off-list, to save bandwidth for others/ Thanks Anne

Hi, I seem to not be able to connect to the folding site and receive new work. Anyone else having this issue? Port 8080 is open as well as the other web ports on the firewall. I can ping the host but get nothing when I open a web browser to it. Anyone else having the same issues?
