Help "Patching Your Git Tree"
...eed to install wine git(?). Having installed git, I found this, http://wiki.winehq.org/Patching, but it doesn't work(or I don't). For one, the patch's extension is not diff, and no matter what extension I gave the file it would give me some error involving the letter "l". The farthest I got was using p0 instead of p1, but it asked me what files I wanted patching, which I don't know. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. ]{ings_Pwn.

Perfect World International- Mouse trouble
I have been installed PWI and I can get into the game but the mouse icon does not show up. I can get in and build a character if I hunt around and click blindly. That is the farthest I have gotten so I don't know if the game is going to work or not. I am fairly new to the Linux system but I have been learning. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?

CentOS 6 P2V alternatives?
...g used daily, so had to look for other solutions. The disk setup is currently as follows: Three 500 GB sata-disks, sda, sdb and sdc, are used to build a software raid called md0. No LVM's here. Sdd is a 120 GB drive, with partitions for boot, swap, home and /. No LVM's here either. The farthest I've gotten is with the Rear solution. http://relax-and-recover.org/ The backup goes well, but recovery for some reason fails to create initramfs with all the installed kernels, as well as failing with an error saying it cannot find /boot/grub, after which the recovery terminates. [LLVMdev] VMKit build failure on OSX
Hi all, I am currently trying to build vmkit on OSX Lion. I am using release versions of llvm/clang as 3.2 and have tired both vmkit HEAD, 3.2 and vmkit2. I have gotten farthest with 3.2 but the current build error that I am getting is llvm[3]: Compiling JavaObject.s for Release+Asserts build /vmkit/lib/j3/VMCore/Release+Asserts/JavaObject_gc.s:1647:2: error: invalid instruction mnemonic 'cvtsi2ssl' cvtsi2ssl %eax, %xmm0 ^~~~~~~~~ /vmkit/lib/j3/VMCore/Release+As...

Error building network library on OpenSolaris and 1.8.1-rc1
...said, what the heck, I got the latest version of OpenSolaris that (pkg image-update) could get and then the latest ver of asterisk I found on the digium repo. Amazingly, configure and make menuselect went without a hitch, very clean. 'make' was going really well as well, in fact this is the farthest I've ever seen it ever go with the minor hitch compalining about format_mp3 but it suggested I use that script in contrib and download the code for that and that made it run again. BUT just my luck, it crapped out with this error *netsock.c: In function `ast_set_default_eid': netsock.c:250...

panel function in a conditioned lattice graphic
...only thing wrong is that this does not correctly encode blocks 5 and 6, which only appear in the third year of the study, 2003 (the third panel of the graphic). It instead labels blocks 5 and 6 as blocks 1 and 2 as if another year had started over (but on the same panel). For example, the point farthest to the right in the third panel says "2" when I want it to say "6." When I do not condition by year, it correctly displays blocks 5 and 6. How can I correct this in the conditioned graphic? Anthony Darrouzet-Nardi

...smoothing. However, I'm interested in looking at fixed bandwidth smoothing and I'm wondering if the second option, (alpha>1) is some variation of this theme. I don't understand the "alpha times actual maxdistance" statement. If my estimation point is 10 meters from the farthest data point in physical space and I set my alpha = 2, then according to the statement above the smoothing window would be 20m???? Obviously this can't be right. Where have I gone wrong? Thanks in advance for your comments. Derrick -- Derrick Snowden NOAA / AOML / PhOD 4301 Rickenbacker Cs...

question about cloud() in lattice package
Hi all, I have been previously been using scatterplot3d package to create some graphs but unfortunately it does not allow me to rotate the plot on all three axis. The cloud() function in the lattice package does allow me to do so. When I was using scatterplot3d I was using a script (Shown Below) to calculate the mean, quartiles and range limits for all three axis and I was representing that on the

rgl package and animation
I am trying to figure out how to use rgl package for animation. It appears that this is done using the play3d() function. Below I have some sample code that plots a 3D path and puts a sphere at the point farthest from the origin (which in this case also appears to be at the end of the path). What I would like to do is animate the movement of another sphere along the length of the path while simultaneously rotating the viewport. How to represent factor levels & ordiellipses using different colors?
...trix consists of 10 variables(environmental matrix) My Professor asked me to do the following. To plot a constrained ordination plot constrained by tobacco habit(which is one of the factors). However he asked me to represent the graph as follows.. Represent the significant species (species that are farthest from the origin in the direction of the environmental variable) with biplot arrows pointing from origin to the species and hide the insignificant species(closer to the origin) on the graph. Also he asked me to use colored solid circles for plotting patients(instead of patient names) with the thre...

Scirra Construct

So I went and in the wine files in my Mac HDD went and found where construct was installed and using winebottler turned the .exe of construct into a .app file format. Doing this has gotten me the farthest as double clicking on it will have wine prepare to open it and then...nothing happens! Wine will finish opening the app and but nothing will happen and no application will appear. Maybe I am not doing something right or somehow skipped a step in setting up Wine but I know that I have the most curre...
