Lock ups?
Hi there. I'm reasonably new to Samba but quite experainced with Linux.
The other day I decided to throw a file server together for my house. I
put together a Linux box with 5 120 gig drives raid 5'd in a rack mount

v2.0.0 released
http://dovecot.org/releases/2.0/dovecot-2.0.0.tar.gz
http://dovecot.org/releases/2.0/dovecot-2.0.0.tar.gz.sig
As promised last Friday, here's the v2.0.0 release finally. I'm
cautiously optimistic that v2.0.1 won't (have to) be released for a few
weeks, since there was quite a lot of testing and fixing going on in the
RC stage.

Port scan from Apache?
Hi everyone,
today I got an e-mail from a company claiming that my server is doing
port scans on their firewall machine. I found that hard to believe so I
started checking the box.
The company rep told me that the scan was originating at port 80 with
destination port 8254 on their machine. I couldn't find any hints as to
why that computer was subject to the alleged port scans. Searching
