Postgrey Wiki page - FAO Karanbir
Hi Karanbir, everyone I've only just noticed that the sections on Reporting, Multiple MX Considerations and Whitelisting on the Postgrey page are specific to postfix/postgrey. I remember we previously talked about making that page less specific to any particular MTA, and Steve has since kindly contributed a section for sendmail. So I'm wondering how we could best restructure the page

Axes Alignment Problem for Multiple Plots
Dear all, I'm trying to plot, in the same window, two different series, using barplot() for the first one and plot() for the second. What happens is that the second chart has a different axes origin, therefore the final plot is wrong. This piece of code shows the differences between the values of par()$usr: barplot(coredata(Z0), beside=TRUE, ylim=c(0,100)); par()$usr;

The Future of R | API to Public Databases
...e) all public data in the easiest way possible. That would create a real impact, would put R a big leap forward and would enable us to see the world with different eyes. There is a lack of a direct connection to the API of these databases, to name a few: - Eurostat - OECD - IMF - Worldbank - UN - FAO - data.gov - ... The ease of access to the data is the key of information processing with R. How can we handle the flow of information noise? R has to give an answer to that with an extensive API to public databases. I would love your comments and ideas as a contribution in a vital discussion....

Assigning values based on a separate reference (lookup) table
...R Users, I have a data frame of 360 rows by 720 columns (259200 values). For each value in this grid I am hoping to apply an equation to, to generate a new grid. One of the parts of the equation (called 'p') relies on reading from a separate reference table. This is Table 4 at: http://www.fao.org/docrep/s2022e/s2022e07.htm#3.1.3%20blaney%20criddle%20method (scroll down a little). Therefore, 'p' relies on the latitude of the values in the initial 360 x 720 data frame. The row names of the data frame contain the latitude values and these range from between 89.75 to -89.75 (the la...

Hi All, I am trying to build a composite plot, with multiple categories, using ggplot2. In principle, it could be done using facetting, but I do not seem to be able to get past the defaults, so I try building each plot separately, then putting them all together using frameGrob and placeGrob. For this, I need to know how to: 1) format the legend with a different layout (e.g 2 rows by 2 columns,
