[LLVMdev] proposal to add MVT::vAny type
The ARM Neon load, store and shuffle operations that I've been implementing recently with LLVM intrinsics do not care about the distinction between vectors with i32 and f32 elements -- only the size matters. But, because we have only MVT::fAny and MVT::iAny types, I've been having to define separate intrinsics for the operations with floating-point vector elements. It didn't bother me when there were only a few intrinsics like this, but now there are more, and I realized this weekend that I still need to add more for the...

It doesn't do anything fundamental. It just seems like a better fit. Neon has vectors of both integers and floats. Currently my choices for describing the type constraints...

[LLVMdev] Overloaded intrinsics: name explosion
...fine with a iPTRAny as the first argument. gc.result is in trouble, because none of the signatures admit even a simple array of integers, and there's no aAny. And certainly no vectors. So we can get a gc.result.vector to add to this mess, and admit [1] to make iAny work with integer arrays (and fAny work with float arrays). Then we can't have an array of pointers. gc.relocate suffers from the same problem: we want to be able to relocate a vector of pointers, but it's simply not possible with its signature. My proposal is to: 1. Introduce aAny. 2. Make iAny work with integer arrays (t...

User Data / Profiles / Permission / Mappings Loss from Samba to Samba Migration
...ver, we have folder shares. Users can log on via Samba, but permissions to the shared folders are all screwed up. When I review the permissions in the sharing tab on the 2000 server I noticed that none of the user names are listed, just some sort of serial number (e.g. S-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx). -- Fanying Jen <fanying.jen@lillecorp.com> Lille Corp

Combining Vectors
Hi, I'm a new R user, and struggeling with the basics (...sigh) I would like to combine 2 vectors : d1: "S1" "S2" "S3" "S4" 1 3 5 6 and d2: "S1" "S3" "S5" 3 3 2 to give a result: "S1" "S2" "S3" "S4" "S5" 1

[LLVMdev] Bufer overrun in getValueTypeList()
...g getValueTypeList even tries to write to that array element causing a memory corruption. Should iPTR handled with the extended types, simple types or in a different way? Should this function even be called with iPTR? Other value types that could have the same problem are Metadata, iPTRAny, vAny, fAny and iAny. rendering date/times from 64bit julian format?
Hellos, I have date/times in 64-bit Julian format, that is the number of milliseconds since 1 jan 1970 (or something like that). E.g., "1159884877406" For the life of me I can't figure out how to render these in a more readable format, e.g., "2006-10-04 23:12:93.191" (and I have tried to do my best searching the archives and help etc ...) Thank you most

create smbpasswd/tdbsam from ldapsam/LDAP query?
As some of you may know, I'm trying to set up Samba BDC on a disk- and fan-less tiny mipsel_CPU router running OpenWRT distribution. I already managed to compile Samba 3.0.21a and OpenLDAP 2.3.18 for it, and they seem to work fine. The problem is, this tiny distribution for routers doesn't seem to have anything like Name Service Switch (NSS), and relies solely on /etc/passwd and
