Locale problems with too-fancy quotes in Windows CMD.exe
'Fancy' quotes are displayed incorrectly when running R from Windows'
CMD shell (Start -> Run -> CMD; latin small letter ae and capital
letter AE; as a script or interactively)). Is this a system
configuration issue, and if so how can I correct it?

Inconsistent behavior of sQuote and dQuote
Dear all
When comparing sQuote("text") and dQuote("text") on MacOS X and Linux FC4
I get an inconsistent behavior (using the new release version R-2.6.0):
sQuote: On Mac I get the correct result "'text'", but on FC4 the
incorrect result "`text?".
dQuote: On Mac I get the correct result "\"text\"", but on FC4 the
incorrect

OdfWeave and Locale
Dear all,
I have a question regarding the odfweave. I created an odt file
(test_input.odt) using OO.o for WIndows XP. The code is generic.

Sweavelistingutil: Encoding problems
Hello,
I am not sure whether this is a bug or lack of R experience.
However, I am using your Sweavelistingutil package, which is very
nice. Obviously I use it to create LaTeX files. These are encoded in
utf8.
However, when I use the Sweavelistingutil is uses some funky
character for "`" and "'" that is not recognized.
Here is an example from my tex-file:
