Samba 3.0 PDC + XP + roaming profile = big, strange mistery of sorts
Please bear with me as this is quite a complicated problem which has eluded me for days now... I recently upgraded a Samba 2.2 PDC to Samba 3.0 [3.0.20a as of now]. After upgrading, I had problems with two XP machines, among 16 of them. One of them didn't validate the domain users correctly. That was immediately taken care of by having said machine leave and re-join the domain. Nothing

[LLVMdev] MachO and ELF Writers/MachineCodeEmitters are hard-codedinto LLVMTargetMachine
I like the idea of a generic MachineCodeWriter, although I prefer the name 'ObjectFileWriter'... I think we need to take a hard look at which bits of the Writer/Emitter infrastructure are needed for what tasks (Object File Emittion, JIT, etc.) and make sure that our abstractions are flexible enough... As it stands at the moment, the Writer and Emitter classes could definately be merged

I would suggest being very familuar with the current code the JIT, and MachineCodeEmitter, and X86 and other CodeEmitter code before jumping in :) > As it stands at the moment, the Writer and Emitter classes >could definately be merged (at least from the perspective of object >file generation). I would not do this, their...

Problems joining Samba 4 in the domain
Hi, I have 2 DC in my network. DC master is a Samba 4 and the secondary is Windows Server 2008. I want to put another Samba 4 as DC to replace Windows Server, however the following errors are emerging: root at samba4-dc2:~# samba-tool domain join empresa.com.br DC -k yes -d 3 lpcfg_load: refreshing parameters from /etc/samba/smb.conf GENSEC backend 'gssapi_spnego' registered GENSEC
