Help!
I have 10 nodes:
Ocfs2 1.2.4
RHEL4 U4 (AMD64)
Kernel 2.6.9-42.ELsmp

ZFS problem after disk faliure
One of my disks in the zfs raidz2 pool developed some mechanical faliure and had to be replaced. It is possible that I may have swaped the sata cables during the exchange, but this has never been a problem before in my previous tests.
What concerns me is the output from zpool status for the c2d0 disk. The exchanged disk is now c3d0 but is no longer a part of the pool?!

FireFox-46.0.1 build with interprocedural register allocation enabled
Hello,
I build FireFox-46.0.1 source with llvm to test interprocedural register
allocation.
The build was successful with out any runtime faliures, here are few stats:

Not Registering Port with VSP.
Hi All,
I seem to be having a problem with all my VSPs. When I am registering
with them I don't seem to be passing my port number. This problem
causes other users the inability to call my VoIP number with the VSP.
My VSP showed me what they are seeing.
I have changed my useragent to be: Linksys/SPA941-4.1.15

Joining Samba 3.0.0 to Windows 2000 domain
Hi,
After unsuccessfully trying to join a samba server to my Win2k domain, I
turn to you guys for help.
The samba server in question is called BRITERSEN, and is on 192.168.1.4,
the Win2k domain controller is called SPOCK and is on 192.168.1.3, the
domain in question is petenet.britersen.co.uk
Getting a kerberos ticket seems to go ok:

Hi Daniel,
I am on Archlinux. Anyway, I adapted the scripts.
2 questions:
1 - It looks like we are not on the same version . I am on 7.5.0. Which
version are you running ?
2 - Your conf shows that you let managed-schema but deleted schema.xml.
What is the meaning of each ?
Thank you

Lessons learned
Hello,
I would like to share few things I have learned over time in my attempt
to integrate all my Linux clients to an existing corporate Windows 2000
Active Directory (AD). I am a Linux admin for a small division in a large
company and do not posses any special rights as far as AD goes. I ONLY have
privileges on my division part of the tree in AD.
Goals:
- Integrate all Linux client to

Joan,
The reason for dropping squat, I'm assuming, is that Lucene and Solr
potentially provide superior features & performance and as they are
3rd-party libraries & apps it reduces the maintenance responsibilities
and let's the Dovecot team focus on mail server specific stuff - and let
others focus on FTS.? There is a *huge* difference between a functional

Also :
- Java is 10.0.2
- If i delete schema.xml but create only managed-schema, the solr
refuses to start with a java error "schema.xml missing"

Dear Daniel.
Thank you for your kind reply.
Regarding NFS, no, there is nothing like this in my setup.
Deleteing SOLR and recreating it, I did it so many times already.
I started with *your* setup in the first place, as FTS_squat (which
actually works very well and very straightforward, I have no clue why
going for SOlr which is just a pain and not maintaining squat), and it

Debian Sarge Root Raid + LVM + XEN install guide (LONG)
Hello fellow xenophiles and happy new year!
I''ve documented the install procedure for a prototype server here since
I found no similar document
Anywhere on the net. It''s a Sarge-based Domain0 on linux root raid from
scratch, using LVM to store
the data for the domU mail server and its mailstore. I humbly submit my
notes in the hope that they are useful to some weary traveller.
