Deferred success for specs?
...ted using specs as a to-do list. I write explicitly violated specs so I know what to come back to. But a lot of the time, that means if I start to work on another piece of functionality covered by the same spec, it''s hard to tell what I''m working on now from the explicit failues. I run all my specs through TextMate to use the HTML output, so I go by the "95 specifications, 3 failures" line at the top. I''d find it useful if I could mark specs as failing but unimportant, eg "95 specifications, 1 failure, 2 deferred". You could even displ...

[LLVMdev] UBSAN - Test failures
Hi Evgeniy, So, to XFAIL some UBSAN failues, I found an issue: UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer-AddressSanitizer :: TestCases/TypeCheck/vptr.cpp UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer-Standalone :: TestCases/Misc/missing_return.cpp These two tests fail on that configuration, but pass when reversed. So, if I XFAIL: armv7l..., I get the following erro...

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] RFC: Change tests to run with fixed (not-host dependent) triple
..., there's two different things that go on in tests: the specific thing being tested and things that aren't being tested but just need to be done to provide enough "context" for what's being tested. I was involved in a long slog trying to fix up a lot of the ARM regression test failues (using my work email address). Here's some "roughly right" statistics: There were probably about 25--30 bugs where the issue was behaviour that FileCheck regexps didn't account for (mostly due to ABI issues). There the prevailing opinion seemed to be keep simple FileCheck tests b...

Do you know a filter able to convert YV12 to RGB, usable in a commercial application ? May I have to make such a filter myself ? Is is said in the README file of oggdsf archive : "You need

[LLVMdev] RFC: Change tests to run with fixed (not-host dependent) triple
I'm ok with this in principle, but how about with the nuance that some tests (eg test/codegen) explicitly opt into march=native? -Chris On Nov 30, 2012, at 12:16 PM, Daniel Dunbar <daniel at zuster.org> wrote: > Hi all, > > We consistently see test failures arising because by default many of our tests run in a mode where the tool (clang or llc) pick host-dependent behavior.

Tripp-Lite SMART1500LCDT
I bought this UPS to use with NUT. I've used Belkin, APC, CyberPower, Best, Powerware upses with NUT on dozens of servers beginning with RHEL3. http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Display-Protection-SMART1500LCDT/dp/B009TZTGWK Since this was advertised as USB HID, I didn't expect any problems. Bad idea (should have gotten the Cyberware with somewhat less runtime). Initially, it seems to
