Does WannaCry Ransmonware affect Samba?
Hello,
Up till today I have only heard that it affects Windows clients and
Servers. However I received this today that sparked my question
https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/sites/default/files/FactSheets/ICS-CERT_FactSheet_WannaCry_Ransomware.pdf
This suggests blocking port 445 for Samba specifically. First wouldn't
blocking port 445 break all file and printer sharing functionality?
Second isn't this port needed even by Windows for SMB? I'm confused. Thanks.

Statistical / data mining methods in R and not in SAS?
Hi, and sorry for asking such an unspecific question.
Does anybody know of statistical / data mining methods that are available in R
that are not in SAS ? With SAS I mean the SAS System Version 9.4 and SAS
Enterprise Miner. I don't expect a complete list, just two or three examples
or hints where and what to look for.
I found some older comparisons, and the R methods mentioned there

Probably a typo/misunderstanding. 445 is for all SMB implementations.

Rd and guillemots
First of all, thanks to those who've set up R to work so smoothly with
Miktex-- even a total Latex bunny like me got it to work instantly, so
that for the first time I'm able to run my Rd files through the Latex
side of RCMD CHECK.
Now the question/buglet. One of my Rd files contains the following:
