It doesn't to me. If you set F95_DIR to /work/NAG_f95 things will
probably work much better for you.

Yes, I did. llvm-test is configured as follows: (in /work/LLVM/1.8/

[LLVMdev] llvm-test configure problem
Following the instructions here:
http://llvm.cs.uiuc.edu/docs/TestingGuide.html#run
I get an error running configure in the llvm-test directory.
./configure
--with-llvmgccdir=/localhome/tbrethou/cfrontend/sparc/llvm-gcc/
--with-f2c=/home/vadve/shared/localtools/sparc
--with-llvmsrc=/localhome/tbrethou/llvm
--with-llvmobj=/localhome/tbrethou/llvm
