Goodday,

syslinux.efi pxeboot across multiple subnets
The same client was used for syslinux.efi (both success on same subnet and
failure on different subnet) and grub.efi. The DHCP host block is setup
like:
host testing {
hardware ethernet {mac} ;
next-server 10.16.195.178 ;
filename "rhel64/syslinux.efi" ;
}
I'll pull a tcpdump filtering by the IP tomorrow when I get back to the
systems.

No idea what systemd-networkd is even doing there. None of this is
intended… Fixed now.

Can''t connect to Modem
Shorewall version 2.2.1
2 Interface setup.
eth1: 10.10.1.3
eth0: 192.168.1.2
modem is 192.168.1.1
I need to be able to connect to my adsl modem, but when shorewall is up I
get connection rejected.
I have added "192.168.1.1 RETURN" above the line "192.168.0.0/16 logdrop #
RFC 1918" in "/etc/shorewall/rfc1918" but still getting connection
rejected

Only one DC? And you have 4..
For every DC and per site, you have 2 sites correct?
I suggest, per site, 2 DC of the same site, 1 DC of the remote as backup.

DC join failed
Hai,
Try this first.
Change : /etc/krb5.conf
[libdefaults]
default_realm = CONYLEC.LOCAL
dns_lookup_realm = true
dns_lookup_kdc = true
Change to
[libdefaults]
default_realm = CONYLEC.LOCAL
dns_lookup_realm = false
dns_lookup_kdc = true
There is no need to lookup the REALM in the DNS, its the Default REALM.
Then try again to join.
But now

Debugging Samba is a total PITA and this needs to improve
Once again, something with Samba thirty bazillion components broke. Once
again, my choices for logging are "nothing" or "15 MB/s spread of ten
different files, because 'client authentication failed' totally needs to
be lower priority than malloc debug info". Once again, none of these
messages is actually able to convey what broke, where, why. Why is it
impossible for
