Maybe someone on the host-side better understands how the 4.12 kernel is interacting with KVM.

To reduce memory consumption clobbered registers are handled with RegisterMask machine operands which contain a bitset of all registers clobbered.

question re: ls oddity
...names like this:
'CHURCH FAMILY ADDRESS AND PHONE LIST.doc'
whereas the one on Centos shows it without the quotes.
both systems have the same alias for ls
I don't see anything based on a brief excursion of the respective man pages.
the one on Centos is version 8.22, and the one on F26 is 8.27, so unless
there is some dotfile somewhere that ls refers to for options, this must
be a version-change.
it seems like a possibly useful feature, one might be able to use that
to avoid nasty quoting problems in shellscripts, for instance.
Anybody know how that gets enabled?
thanks!

The reasons above suggest me that we should switch all the distros (in the
libguestfs.org repository) to GPT, not just the ones in this patch.

Stepwise logistic discrimination - II
...me procedure with just 21
variables. The results are in setp20.txt. This removed 3 variables. This
seemed to indicate that there was no problem with using stepAIC +
multinom. I then repeated the procedure for the 126 variables by
replacing the "~" by the full list of variables "F25 +F26
+........+F150". StepAIC removed the first 2 variables then produced the
same error message as before. See setp126.txt
Is this a bug? Is there a maximum number of variables which stepAIC can
handle?

Right, I'm currently digging that way, struggling a bit w/ the way I
write the F26 ISO to a USB flashdrive (I'll succeed tomorrow, found
better howtos to get rid of unetbootin issues).
Fedora could be stable enough even if not a standard/reference in
industry at all (which sticks to RH releases), I would have loved a
CentOS because it is way more compliant to my "corpor...

[PATCH] builder: templates: For RHEL, CentOS >= 7 and all Fedora, default to GPT.
I didn't test this one fully yet, but I'm building Fedora 26 ppc64/le
test images now. However it seems like it could be a good idea. I
wonder if anyone depends on the images we supply being MBR-based?
Rich.

Missing y label
My on-screen plots with the latest build are acting strange. If the y label is longer
than some small value it is not shown.
Here is the script of a job. A pdf graph is fine. I use xubuntu as the windowing system.

I've just updated my samba 2.4.6 to samba 2.4.7 via updating Fedora 26 to 27
System was working in F26. But in F27 users cannot connect to the service

Enter UNE\ngaywood's password:

file.copy(from=Directory, to=File) oddity
When I mistakenly use file.copy() with a directory for the 'from' argument
and a non-directory for the 'to' and overwrite=TRUE, file.copy returns
FALSE, meaning it could not do the copying. However, it also replaces the
'to' file with a zero-length file.

cat(file = toFile <- tempfile(), "existing file\n")

Nested KVM: L0 guest produces kernel BUG on wakeup from managed save (while a nested VM is running)
Hi everyone,
I hope this is the correct list to discuss this issue; please feel
free to redirect me otherwise.
I have a nested virtualization setup that looks as follows:
- Host: Ubuntu 16.04, kernel 4.4.0 (an OpenStack Nova compute node)
- L0 guest: openSUSE Leap 42.3, kernel 4.4.104-39-default
- Nested guest: SLES 12, kernel 3.12.28-4-default
The nested guest is configured with
