Troubleshooting underidentification issues in structural equation modelling (SEM)
Hi all, hope someone can help me out with this.
Background Introduction
I have a data set consisting of data collected from a questionnaire that I
wish to validate. I have chosen to use confirmatory factor analysis to
analyse this data set.
Instrument
The instrument consists of 11 subscales. There is a total of 68 items in
the 11 subscales. Each item is scored on an integer scale between 1 to 4.

[LLVMdev] LLVM as compiler course infrastructure - thanks!
...le in a manner similar to `opt`? If ... someone
... was to do this plumbing in a reasonable way, would it likely get
pulled up into a later version?
If you're interested, you can have a look at the kinds of assignments
we're doing with LLVM here:

panel ordering in nlme and augPred plots
...red). However,
the solution given ...
> fm <- lme(Orthodont)
> plot(Orthodont)
> plot(augPred(fm1, level = 0:1), skip = rep(c(F,T), c(16, 2)))
... doesn't solve it -- although it does do all the females before
starting on the males. That is, it starts with "F02", "F08", "F03",
... which isn't in order either.
Running Petr's code also gave output which wasn't ordered by the subjects.
Could someone please explain to me how to order the panels of the
trellis plot by the subjects?
thanks,
Nandor

Problem with pairs() in nlme
Dear r-helpers,
After successfully running
require(nlme)
vfr.lmL <- lmList(
estimate ~ (slant + respType + visField + hand)^2 | subject, vfr
)
pairs(vfr.lmL, id = 0.01, adj = -0.5) # Pinheiro & Bates (p. 141)
produces the following error:
Error in sprintf(gettext(fmt, domain = domain), ...) :
object "form" not found
Any guesses as to what I may have done wrong?
