why copying files so slow in ext3
it takes 5 seconds to copy 20M files from one directory to another.However it
only takes no more than 1 second in the ext2 filesystem.

HELP: acts_as_taggable problem with :clear => true
I''ve got the basics of acts_as_taggable going, but I now want to use
:clear => true on the tags method, because the tags I''m supplying as
parameters are the complete set of tags for the item, not additions to
existing tags.
Problem is, that gives me a nasty SQL error ...

that in ram disk to hard disk, it really will take little time in ext3
filesystem as it do in ext2 file system(no more than 1 second).So i want to
konw how to find the problem and how to solve it.

probit analysis
Dear all,
I have a very simple set of data and I would like to analyze them
with probit analysis.
