IAX & FWD, No authority found?
Hi Folks, Just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers, I'm configuring Asterisk to talk to FWD's new IAX service. The asterisk server is behind an iptables NAT Firewall, with port 5036 forwarded: $IPTABLES -t nat -A PREROUTING -p udp -d $EXTERNAL_IP --dport 5036 -j DNAT --to-destination 172.16.20.200:5036 I can make outgoing calls just fine, but when I receive an inbound call (FWD call me service) I get the following errors from iax2 debug... Tx-Frame Retry[-01] -- OSeqno: 002 ISeqno: 002 Type: IAX Subclass: ACK Timestamp: 00088m...

I just added my Vonage and cannot get the Phone Adapter to sync up (2 blinks (looking for IP)) All I have done is run an ethernet cable from the WAN outlet on the phone adapter to a lan port on the router. After googling, I found

[Bug 554] New: Packet illegaly bypassing SNAT
...lingly), command is: nmap -sX ${VICTIM} On my router I had the command: tcpdump -v -i ${EXTERNAL_INTERFACE} src net ${SOURCENET} Rules in use: iptables -t nat -F iptables -t forward -F iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o ${EXTERNAL_INTERFACE} -j SNAT --to-source ${EXTERNAL_IP} Forwarding was enabled _after_ installing the iptablesrules. I think that an unusal combination of flags causes that problem and since "nmap -sX" is all flags on, it is unusual enough to trigger the problem. But as said above, it also happens during normal usage. Instead of the SNAT-...

PIX!!!!!
Can anyone point me in a good direction for configuring SIP through a PIX using 1:1 NAT. I have read anything I could get my hands on and tried them all with very little success. I can get it to work through the cheap little cable modem routers, but not this PIX. I -can- make a direct SIP call using the IP address of the * server (ie.exten@ipaddr), but when I do that * still doesn't

FXO registration and VegaStream
I am trying to configure a VegaStream 50 FXO to work with asterisk. The problem that I am having is that the VegaStream does not support incoming registration from asterisk. VegaStream only allows outbound registration. My question is does asterisk allow incoming registration from an FXO? If yes how? Or better yet, has anybody been able to make the VegaStream FXO work with asterisk? According
