NFS/InterMezzo ext3 problem

We find that this oopses if the file is recently deleted:
echo foo > file
rm file
"ilookup file" oopses.
We suspect that iget gets the inode _without_ hitting ext3_read_inode,
ie. it is still in the hash lists.
What happens is what we re-enter the ext3_delete_inode path,
and something goes wrong when it hits the ext3_orphan_del routine.
I think that something is awry, because I would have hoped that after
the unlink has run, the inode would not go through another round of
ext3_delete_inode. It would be best if ext3_read_inode __was__ called

Apparemtly a write is being deferred past the remount point and then
runs into problems when it is performed because the file system is now

Problems with ext3 fs
Hi,
Apologies, this is going to be quite long - I'm going to provide as much
info as possible.
I'm running a system with ext3 fs on software RAID. The RAID set-up is as
shown below:
jlm@nijinsky:~$ cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [linear] [raid0] [raid1] [raid5]
read_ahead 1024 sectors
md0 : active raid1 hdc1[1] hda1[0]
96256 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md5 : active raid1 hdk1[1] hde1[0]

problem with Andrew's patch ext3
Hello Andrew,
I patched 2.4.20 with your patch found out on http://lwn.net/Articles/17447/
and I have a big problem with:
once server is booted on 2.4.20 with your patch, when I want to reboot
with /sbin/reboot, server makes a Segmentation fault and it crashs.
I tested it on 50-60 servers and it is the same problem. I tested kernel
2.4.20 without your patch: no problem.

Hey,
I've a problem with an ext3 filesystem and don't know how to fix it or
find the failure :(
The Hardware:

400GB Seagate HD's, 756 MB Ram, other harddisks for system, network and
avm isdn controller.
Couse of the filesystem problems I run memtest and found one bad memory
module which I replaced yet.
