Can exsiting router handle VoIP traffic?
Hi All:
I'd like to test a pure VoIP call center set up under Asterisk, Can I use existing IP routers to get VoIP traffic from service provider to Asterisk with good quality of voice? In other words, do I have to do any hardware upgrade to make VoIP work in existing enterprise environement, we have 10g Ethernet LAN?
Many thanks,
Tielin

No quote
...1], it is "Price".
Basicly, I would like to call the datafram with reference to the
array"code".e,g, If I want to call dataframe
"Prices", I use sth containing code[1]. It may sounds unnecessary in this
special case. But as I have some
interaction work to do with an exsiting project and this is what I want to
achieve.
I try to use the noquote function on "code", and it returns sth as
following:
[1] Prices Rates OtherVariables...
Then I call noquote(code)[1], it gets
[1] tblPrices
How can I get rid of the [1]? Could anyone give me some advice? many th...

what exactly does outlook-idle workaround?
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the 'client_workarounds = outlook-idle' directive
exactly does? I have enabled it in my /etc/dovecot.conf, but the problem
that I think it should solve still exsits. That is that after being IDLE
for more than half an hour Dovecot will disconnect Outlook but Outlook
never connects back. Therefore users receive new mail, but they don't get
notified unless they press send/receive.
So what does the workaround do? And how can I solve the problem?
Thanks!

racoon with freebsd-4.11 crashes
...psec.conf
ping -c 1 <ip_of_the_other_gw>
The ping will lead into a crash.
The crash dump looks like for th ping packet it is
going to apply a SA.
It is going in "key_checkrequest" in key.c file and
crashing there.
As I know "key_checkrequest" is used to apply a
exsiting SA to a outgoing packet.
But in case of racoon the first ping packet is used
for negotiation with other gateway to establish the
SA.
I am not understading as to why it is going in
key_checkrequest ans crashing.
Please anyone who have used racoon with hfreebsd-4.11
can guide me if i am doing s...

Calender Script?
I have been trying to get one of the calender javascripts to work with
the <%= form.text_field. So when the user pick the date it updates the
time fields? (like in normal reservation system where you pick up the
date and time from the calender and when user pick the selection it
updates the field) but I could not get this to work.
Does anyone have got something similar to work? or could

You should simply not define these methods for your backend - Xapian has
fall-back versions (used for inmemory) which will then be used. If you
return some constant which isn't actually a valid b...

CDR Desgin
...he new CEL and not CDRs.
At the very least if problems arise with their call flow tracking they
will still be able to rely on the accuracy of the CDRs to piece it
altogether to work out what's going wrong.
My proposal of creating a 1-to-1 relationship between CDRs and
Asterisk channels already exsits but somewhere along the line it's
going awry. As an experiment, and to actually do something instead of
continually moaning about it, I started commenting out the blocks of
code in res_featrures.c and sip_channel.c that muck around with the
channel CDRs when a transfer occurs. The results of t...

1.0-test68 released
http://dovecot.org/test/
Recommended update, has had a lot of testing today. No new big features.
Changes:
- LDAP authentication should work finally?
- Some header lookup fixes that should fix sort/threading issues
- Don't crash with 0-byte size mboxes
- Transaction log fixes. Also rotate .log file to .log.2 file, allowing
more history and less "transaction log file lost"

received wrong state events for originate command
...Unable to request channel Zap/1/13xxxxxxxxx
but i can call the FXO using my phone, everything seems perfect! After the
incomming call, i fire outgoing call using originate again, it works now, my
phone can ring, i also can pick up it(I seems originate did not create a new
Zap channel, just used an exsiting channel?).
But the second problem produced, i received the Dialing, UP, Newexten events
before my phone ringing. It is supposed that i send an originate command
(like Dial application), the last state should be Dialing... until i pick up
my phone or timeout.
These problems only for Zap channel...
