SSH and .exrc of vi
I am trying to use "~/.exrc" file to customize vi sessions.
The file is properly configured: I can telnet or establish a serial
terminal session to the server and I can use my customizations when I
invoke vi.
Still when I use vi with ssh sessions, the mappings in the .exrc file are
not working.
What part am I missing her...

errors when starting vi,

debian unstable & ext3
...s calling fsync or sync and that is then flushing everything
to disk. My tests create maybe 10 dozen files in ~30MB and for some
reason this is taking 4 seconds to flush.
I'm not sure if ext3, the kernel, or vim is the problem. I already
googled and set
set swapsync=sync
set nofsync
in my .exrc but that hasn't helped.
Has anyone else seen this and do they have a work around? I'm about to
switch to reiserfs and that's a lot of fuss for what should be a simple
problem (I hope).

Encrypt some services with ipsec
Hi all,
I have two prodction servers with FreeBSD 5.4 (all security patches
are applied). They running some services like dns, ssh, http, ftp, etc.
But I woukd like to encrypt some services for some hosts with ipsec when
it is accessed. For example:
- DNS resolution: not encrypted.
- DNS replication master-slave: encrypted by ipsec.
- Telnet: encrypted by ipsec for some hosts. Deny
